From Twitter Sources. Thoughts? Maybe he'll call out GGG if he wins to setup a superfight in 2018 in Oakland.
It's a huge event, that's why. GGG and Ward will never have a fight, not unless Ward cools off the whole "stacked deck" attitude.
This thread made me smile. You know, there's an old rule in comedy. It goes back to at least Vaudeville. Do a gag once. No one laughs. Do the same gag again. Still no one laughs. Then do the gag a third time. Then, you'll start to get laughs.
I would understand if it were between fighters everybody want to see fight e.g Floyd/Pac going to each other's fights before they fought or GGG/Canelo... But yeah, Ward going to this fight doesn't mean a thing now...
Common sense. There aren't any other potential PPV matchups for him at 175 that can be made. The division is filled with high risk, low name value guys. That's not good business for Roc (who just lost Cotto, their moneymaker), and clearing them out is not what Andre's looking to do. GGG - Ward was never 100% off the table. It just needs more money behind it. I can guarantee you Ward is going to be one of the biggest GGG fans in the arena that night.
SOB will not fight anybody unless he owns the judges, referee, boxing commission as usual................SOB actually had the nerve to claim that neutral judges would not be fair for him...............
