He feels bad for Murata and the entire sport? Well, he should actually do something about this instance -- and ensure this never happens again in a fight sanctioned by the WBA -- instead of merely sounding off about it on Twitter. The WBA are already a joke organisation without shockingly bad decisions like this.

 

Okay, I need a quick tutorial... I have no idea how Twitter works, but how would I find Twitter reactions to the fight?

 

Padilla makes Ian John Lewis seem like Arthur Mercante Sr by comparison.

 

It's the worst of the decade, imo. About as bad as Whitaker-Ramirez I. Except Murata won more clearly.

Stylistically it was a repeat of Zhuravskiy vs. Danyo, which almost nobody saw, but trust me (and those who did see it, be honest and back me up here) - Zhuravskiy executed the patient stalker motif far more effectively than Murata, taking more crystal-clear rounds and doing so more authoritatively, landing more/harder punches...while Danyo spent long periods outright running as opposed to srickibg and moving like HNN did, and didn't engage (or land) as much as HNN.

If you want to call this one a 9 on the robbery scale, you have to say Zhuravskiy vs. Danyo was an off-the-chart eleven.

So far, Murata is doing a good job cutting off the ring.

 

Round 1 was a N'dam round, Murata was just scoping it out he barely threw any punches. N'dam wasn't landing clean but due to activity N'dam did deserve it. Round 2 I thought Murata landed the cleaner punches, but it was close. 3-12 were all pretty dominant Murata rounds. Let me know how you see the fight.

 

While I have yet to see Zhuravski vs Danyo, @IntentionalButt, I think in terms of high visibility fights, and complete inability to find a way to get there (the official outcome) from here (the actual contest that transpired), you can't do much worse than Murata-N'dam. Ndam may have done better than Danyo, and Zhuravski may have executed his plan better than Murata, but taken on its own merits, Murata-N'dam still has to be an utterly putrid decision.

Sterling KO'd in the 6th, but after review the fight was overturned and changed to a NC (though Molinares was still awarded the Title)...!!!

I feel that Murata hasn't let his hands go enough. While I have him ahead right now, I can see why he didn't get the nod; he was too passive.

Really, he has no one to blame but himself for this loss.

 

Is this the worst robbery you've scored? Damn. With the time I didn't see this and still haven't, but I don't think I've ever scored a fight 10-2 that went to the other guy.

 

How many knock downs in that fight?

When you take in to account there were 2 clear kd's not awarded to Murata you can't possibly get worse?

Unless the other fight they won every round and got 3 kd's too?

 

The judges remembered Pearl Harbor and took it out on Murata.
