Walsh wasn't particularly responsive after the knockdown. It could easily have been stopped then and there.

Walsh was on jelly legs when he got back up, might have been slightly premature but he was going to get stopped regardless.

Wasn't premature Walsh legs gone. Your supposed to walk forward after a knock down and count he couldn't should have stopped it there really.

Good performance by Davis but would that class as a British stoppage of a British fighter?

 

Davis won in style, fights over here in the U.K. and started the fight like a champion and finished the fight like a champion.

FFS BT asking was the fight stopped too quickly, the referee tried his best to give Walsh some extra time to recover and he still looked all over the place after the KD, I think there was a case to wave it off after he got up, his legs were gone.

 

Walsh id a domestic level fighter, no shame in that

 

And he'd spent a minute totally disorganised and unable to even form a guard. Good stoppage

The ref could of stopped it after the first knockdown.
