Ali ,Young and to a extent Lyle "handled" Foreman.

Speed kills and Tyson has it in spades over Foreman.

Ali hit him AT WILL and WITH EASE with lead rights which in fact is a insult to every professional fighter to be hit with lead rights............

Foreman is WIIIIDDDDDEEEE open , his offense is his defense, Tyson is a awesome counter puncher and he will nail Foreman countless times.

Insert Tyson instead of Lyle and Foreman gets counted out.

In reality this is a genuine 50/50 fight with the edge going to Tyson IMO.

For reference, they have two common opponents, Stewart and Saverese, Tyson waxed both of those ham and eggers in less than ONE round combined but he was already not firing on all cylinders against Stewart and was totally washed up against Saverese...............while comeback Foreman went life and death with glass chinned Stewart looking like raw Hamburger after going the distance and struggled in similar fashion against USA Tuesday night fights clubfighter Saverese while going the distance again............some even say good ol' George got gift decisions in both.

The only opponent, who really handled a prime Foreman; a Foreman at his invincible best, was Ali.

Foreman would roll Tyson up like a carpet.Tyson ruled by fear in foreman he would meet someone more frightening than him .The seventies foreman would fix him with that terrible stare and mike would be bricking himself.

Tyson will kill Foreman with his 10-12 punch combinations and will bob weave out of Foreman's best shots and if he gets hit, he will take it.

Tyson is no ordinary man. I mean, look at the bones!

You're quoting Larry Merchant from 1974, a full decade before Tyson came on the scene.

Forget styles, it's about chins being able to ship bombs. Can Foreman take the quick bombs Tyson unleashes? Can Tyson take the single shots Foreman detonates?

Tyson's always been shorter than his opposition. What does Foreman have that Tyson hasn't seen before? Power? Uppercuts? A 70's afro?

Look, if Ron Lyle can make Foreman flounder around the ring early and often, I imagine the undisputed world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson would finish the job.
