    Ok guys, the semantic debate about what boxers are 'mean' got annoying and pointless. Crawford's just really good, and has a distinct desire to get to a higher level.

    Crawford popping jabs while coasting around the ring. Díaz is getting mad and focusing that anger, showing urgency now, and comes flying at Crawford with a soaring left hand. It connects. Left uppercuts on the backfoot now from Crawford, though he is showing Díaz more respect and backpedaling rapidly with his arms up before planting his feet to fire in short volleys. Díaz comes rushing in and eats a left uppercut. Both men gesticulate at each other in a macho game of chicken. Both saying "no, you take a step toward me". They step in and trade, both landing hooks.

    That one shot didn't win the round. It just spurred Crawford on. Crawford still has Diaz where he wants him and controlling the match, and outlanded him the rest of the way.
