Tyson Fury is still living the life of a professional athlete looking to get in tip top shape. Out at LIV nightclub in Manchester at 2am on Friday morning.... Thats the boy. Will he ever return, and if so when? TYSON FURY took a break away from his vigorous training schedule by enjoying a night out in Manchester until the early hours of Friday morning. The 28-year-old is targeting a return to the sport to re-claim his world heavyweight belts after witnessing Anthony Joshua knock out former foe Wladimir Klitschko. Fury hasn’t fought since he dethroned the Ukrainian legend in Dusseldorf in November 2015 to clinch the WBA, IBF, WBO and the IBO titles. He was spotted leaving Wetherspoons, before he posed for pictures with fans and supporters in the Manchester City centre outside LIV nightclub. Only recently was the ‘Gypsy King’ out training in Marbella with pal and WBO middleweight champions Billy Joe Saunders as he gears up for his title defence against Avtandil Khurtsidze at the Copper Box Arena. The undefeated boxer who also held the prestigious Ring magazine belt, claimed to have ballooned up to 25 stone during his 18-month hiatus. He planned on fighting on the undercard of Saunders' fight on July 11, but he is currently without a boxing license, and his promoter Frank Warren has revealed he won't be back inside a ring until the end of the year most likely. Personal issues forced Fury to vacate his titles, but Eddie Hearn believes he will get his chance to become an undisputed champion once again in a mega fight against Joshua next year. Earlier this month Fury revealed he had been driven to suicidal thoughts by the suggestion he fulfilled his life-long dream of becoming heavyweight champion by taking drugs. Fury said: "To be honest, I didn't want to live. If I had cheated, fine. But I have not cheated. I beat Klitschko on ability, I don't need a drug." I think he will be back and perhaps by the end of the year. But with Tyson Fury how could you ever be sure. He probably isn't even sure himself.
Longer his out the harder it will get for him, also all this alcohol and substance will definitely affect him
If after all this Fury turned up and made a bit of a fool out of AJ and won would it be viewed AJ wasn't all that or would Fury be hailed as a truly great boxer?
Fury will come back to fight Joshua for huge money, the biggest heavyweight fight that can be made, next to that is a Vlad/Joshua rematch...................those are the two biggest fights that can be made today................
"the haters" ?? I'm pretty sure everyone reasonable believes it is against all likelihood that Fury will be the same fighter again. I'm not writing him off completely (because I do think he's a talented boxer) .... but when a guy spends 2 years sat in Wetherspoons about 8 stones overweight he's probably losing his edge as far as top-level boxing goes .... don't you think? I know some people are desperate to credit AJ with "all time great" wins already. We saw that with the "he beat the best Wlad ever" BS ... and i'm sure if he ever beats Fury people will be building that up similarly. But it's all very unnecessary. Joshua's got his head screwed on right and he's bound to make the best of himself and he'll probably be around for a while, and we'll find out in due time whether he's great or not. But if he's beating old guys and messed up fat guys, however good they once were, let's not gloss over the fact.
I have a feeling he's heard the UKAD thing is going to drag on another 6 months and he's given up again. I'm not sure how UKAD can get away with this.
