And the punch doesn't even just send Sharkey's head straight upwards and backwards; instead, it appears that Sharkey raises up with his entire upper body from the hip! Strange looking footage.

Yes - The movement of head and upper-body, in unison, doesn't look natural. Sharkey's collapse under a genuinely powerful uppercut from Louis does not include an impression of a man, making a half-baked attempt at a Fosbury Flop.

Gallicos acolytes are so hypnotized by the characterizations of Primo that play to their lower senses, that they've begun to hallucinate in order to maintain that sweet drug of entitlement over real championship boxers.

82% voted that Carnera was a legitimate champion, presumably scoring a legitimate knockoutgainst Sharkey.

Now you are entitled to believe otherwise, and you can go on championing this idea, but never forget, that in doing so, it is a minority viewpoint.

That ko looks virtually nothing like Carnera-Sharkey. You're embarrassing yourself (again).

In this months Ring magazine Evander Holyfield names Riddick Bowe as the best overall fighter he ever fought and the one with the best jab!.
In which specific way is Carnera superior to Bowe?
    1 Overall Power?
    2.Chin?
    3.Defence?
    4.Jab?
    5.Left Hook?
    6.Right Cross?
    7.Overall skill?

87% only voted that Bowe was a better "all round boxer" than primo Carnera. Half of them probably thought they were voting on who would win. Nor was it a 87vote AGAINST the legitimacy of Primo as a champion.

In truth less than 20% think Primo was a fraudulent Oaf.

Over 80% think Primo was a legitimate champion.

    Never forget that.

Bowe had some very good attributes and Holyfield certainly knows what he is talking about. This thread is not about who would win. Or who was better but which of these guys emphasised the most skill in a boxing sense. I have to remind you (third time now) that I voted that they were equally good all rounders. Holyfield endorsing Bowe from a personal view is an interesting tidbit. It's not something that blows anything open.

Oh ,so half the posters who voted against your point of view didn't know what they were voting on! The only time I can remember seeing Carnera referred to as an oaf on any of these threads about him,was by Reznik, when he described some of his boxing as "oafish".

And may I remind you in turn that the title of the thread is."Who Was The Better All Round Fighter" and the answer to that is obviously Bowe!
Now would you like to answer the7 questions I posed you?
