Mikey Garcia vs Adrien Broner in the works for July...

I like this fight. Not one of the aforementioned fights with Linares, Loma or Crawdaddy are happening for Mikey so why not one with AB?

That said, I like Garcia by KO.

 

Is Loma busy?

 

Taking a fight with Mikey Garcia is a bad choice on Broner's part.

IMO he will survive the fight, but lose every round.

Garcia is a dedicated and highly-highly skilled boxer.

This type of choice shows that Broner's common sense is missing in boxing just as it is in his personal life.

A smaller guy is going to tear him up- and probably- easily.

I believe that I am like most others here when I say, "Wow. What Broner COULD have been."

On the other hand, I can point to Mikey Garcia and tell my son, "That's what a fighter looks like."

 

A good fight indeed, but I rather Money stay at 135lb to fight Loma. I rather see Broner vs Crawford. I favor Crawford in that fight but Broner fights so much better at 140.

 

Doesn't appear as though Broner wants to mix it up with top 147 pound fighters does it?

 

I think he puts him down and hopefully out. Mikey is good and his power should come up. Great fundamentals and puts his punches together well.

Linares fought his last couple fights on Showtime and Mikey's supposedly a free agent. Mikey-Linares for boss at 135 is the fight that had to happen. Of course Loma would be even better but I can understand if it won't happen next and will be hard to make. But I'll be so disappointed in Mikey if he moves to 140 without fighting Linares.

 

A(dult)B(aby) won't fight Garcia, he's a chicken

 

AB isn't elite but I don't expect elite when a fighter moves up. Broner is a good name to test the waters against and obviously brings him exposure.

 

I would love to see this happen. Mikey will KO Broner.

 

Damn, would have much preferred a fight against Linares here.

I'm sure the WBC mandated this fight so I don't understand why it isn't happening.

The best two fighters at 135 pounds, both called each other out, both have a share of the WBC. Natural fight to make.

 

No way he KOs or even gets a KD on Broner. Broner took everything Maidana had and finished on his feet.

Last i heard, Garcia was not tied down to anyone. I dont think he has a contract with anyone atm.

Mikey should be able to outwork him as all B/A tier boxers do to Broner the boner.

Mikey is quite reserved though but why not be when you can stay behind that big boy jab?
