If people are going try to claim some sort of moral victory based on the voting pattern in this thread, then I would say that it is a pretty legitimate response.

 

I really don't understand that question. Many posts on this thread do diminish Primo and his legitimacy. You are asking have I received votes to support this? Do you mean on my thread? Do I have votes that support the "diminishing of carnera" on my thread which asks if he is legitimate or not? There are four votes from people that think primo was a fraudulent oaf- aparently they exist- does that count? Is that what you mean?

 

Which seven questions? Do I need to remind you I voted that Primo and Bowe were equally good all rounders since in my opinion they both understood boxing and exhibited a fair repertoire of boxing skill. This is the forth time you have mistaken me for someone who voted that Carnera was more skilled. I have defended Carneras reputation as a big man with skill, and as being a great Superheavy when judged strictly against other super heavy sized champions like Willard, Fury, bonecrusher smith, Parker, wilder, john Tate etc. Etc.

I've never suggested you said Carnera had more skill .I said you stated he was a great fighter and you did , and I think that opinion is totally ludicrous!

 

I think my thread was pretty straight forward. Is Carnera legit or worthy champion or not. Or is he a fraudulent oaf. It's a most emphatic result too. The result doesn't show that he is "something between the two". Not by a long chalk.

 

In terms of who fought like what people think a guy with superior height, reach, and weight its Carnera. In terms of who was the better fighter its Bowe.
