Removed from the WBC rankings, after Amir khan twice failed to take advantage of his mandatory position to fight first Garcia when he was champion and now pretends Keith Thurman doesn't exist, Khan has now changed his position from wanting nothing to do with Kell brook, to now wishing to fight Brook at Wembley.

Brook needs to tell him to sling his hook and beg Eggington or some other Domestic fighter for a british title.

Here is some more delusion and shamless begging from Khan's mouth.

"There are very few fighters from this country that could fill Wembley, and I'm definitely one of them," Khan exclusively told Sky Sports. "Kell Brook would be a fight that everyone wants to see.''

"I've been selling out arenas since I was 21-years-old when I first started topping bills. I was a pay-per-view fighter when I was 20."

Asked about his remaining career goals, Khan said: "Come back to Britain, put on a big show, and beat someone like Kell in a rivalry fight. Who is No 1 in the division in the UK? People don't know who to pick, so let's prove it."

I know who to pick Amir and it isn't you.

He also has one of the best chins in the business and Canelo outweighed him by 30lbs when they fought.

It might sell out Wembley! But, I'd pick Brook to win that by KO. I hope that fight happens

Not a fan but that fight would probably make that. What is khan playing at anyway, where is he going these days, lots of talk.

Dont want him getting the payday after he ducked it for so long but would be fun watching him get sparked out.

Brook vs Khan would not sell-out Wembley. Yes, it would do good numbers, and his name is still relevant with casual sports fans who probably think he's still a world champion. The O2 or Bramhall Lane at a push, but Khan wouldn't go to Brook's backyard. He talks about the Reebok Stadium in Bolton as a venue, but the problem for Khan is, most people in Bolton either hate him or find him an embarrassment.

It's sad to see how he's let his career slide from being an exciting, vulnerable, all-action fighter who was prepared to take on the best, to becoming a sideshow distraction from those who are truly dedicated to their craft, whose careers he tries to piggyback to stay in the public eye. The Garica loss broke him. Since then he's turned in a parody of himself and I wish he'd just go away.

He keeps saying he's still the A-side. But in truth he's just an A-hole...

I take in the above^^ and I'm not from England. But wouldn't a bitter rivalry between two Brits sell very well...even if fans are buying tickets to see Khan get sparked?

Absolutely it would sell, but not in the numbers Khan is suggesting. Really, he's not saying 'let's make this fight' he's implying he's as big a star as Joshua and his name alone would fill Wembley. He's deluded and by my reckoning semi-retired anyway. It's a harsh reality but he's lost three of his last eight fights, fought five times in the past five years and not been a world champion since 2012...

So much hate for Khan on here.

Him v Brook couldn't fill out Wembley but it will definitely do big numbers. If Brook Spence can do Brammall Lane, Brook Khan could do 40-50k min stadium and PPV buys will be huge.

And Khan v Eggington or going for a british title?? Khan's chin is non existent but he is a good 'boxer' and he's proven that. He obviously needs a lower level opponent for a tune up, but going for a british title?!

And for anyone who wants to say I'm a Khan fan, Brook is my favourite fighter, it's just not hard to appreciate a boxer who clearly has talent.

Hopefully the fight happens. Khan has run out of options and both would be stupid to turn down the payday it would generate. Hopefully this isn't another Junior Witter / Hatton

Oh how things change... Khan used to be the bigger fighter of the two. Fast forward some knockouts later, and Brook has taken the lead. Getting big fights and is now known and popular.

Khan, you are B side now because of your A side divaness. Stay in your lane, boy.
