Don't like the look of brook. saw some photos of him today his eye looks weird from the operation plus he keeps going on about how it isn't a problem ? .I think brook is going into a very tough fight with a very talented young fighter after getting beaten up at a higher weight then coming back down again. This is a big ask of brook if he can do it fair play but I have a bad feeling about his chances.
all my ppl think spence is gunna wipe this guy out. n i really wish there wasnt a weight concern and or eye concern cuz i would be all on board pickin kell to win this fight.
Will you still be saying that if Brook stops Spence? He's not only good, he's borderline Mayweather/Ward good. He's that skilled, not sure how all the sweet science people (not saying you're one, I'm generalizing) seem to miss that.
This is a great fight and a tough one to call...I like both guys, I suspect Brook's chin could fail him at some point in this fight.
"Stops Spence?!" he said, as he spat his coffee across the room. Sure, I'll give him credit for that. But it won't happen.
He's probably asked about the eye in every interview he does. If he replied he didn't want to talk about, people would say that was a bad sign and he was hiding something. Same goes for the weight. The two questions every reporter will ask Brook in the build-up: 'how's the eye, how's the weight?'
That's great news, I think the weight issues has blown up and became such an issue after Hearn made such a big deal about Brooks weight around the Golovkin fight to avoid heavy criticism. Hearn was so intent on making a case about the weight not being an issue and saying Brook would be a BIG Light Middleweight and a "Monster" at 154 that the 147 looks even harder to make now. Brook does struggle to make weight but what fighter doesn't? I'm sure there are a few but most fighters fight the weight also. Anyway, I just want to see Spence Jr smacked in the mouth, let's see if he can take a dig. I personally don't think he can.
That won't happen why? Because Spence has showed us all his iron chin when taking bombs from those KO monsters Algieri and Bundu? He's never been in with an actual puncher, and have you noticed that he freezes up when he gets tagged by featherfisted guys like Bundu and Lartey, Brook is no featherfist, just because you all hope and want Spence to be the American WW GGG, it doesn't make it a reality.
This fight is not about weight gents but rather skills and grit. Ask Chavez. He looked good making the weight but his skills were lacking. I don't doubt Brooks skills or his power but I think that Spence's grit and determination will see him through. That's barring a knockout from either fighter.
