Who hasn't dropped Joshua?

I don't live here, Sport; I check in every other day or so. And It slipped my mind that a guy got dropped by a Hall-of-famer before getting up to destroy him...

Joe Louis was constantly dropped, but except for two occasions he always got up again and won. Hell, Wlad was constantly dropped early in his career and look how he turned out.

Taking punches hard enough to drop you to the canvas is never a good trait, but it doesn't necessarily mean you can't have a successful career.

 

Sadly the same thing that'll happen when Wilder's windmill makes contact lol

really? i seem to remember him getting dropped in his last fight. was that an amateur bout?

 

thus why whyte backed out of the wach fight, for a rematch against feather fisted chisora.

 

Its obvious that Wilders right hand is the single most devasting punch in all of boxing. Wlad knocks people down and they get up before the 10 count but when Wilder hits you with his right hand "He don make people seize on the floor" case in point Kelvin Price and Sergey Liakhovic. 37 knock outs in 38 fights.

 

Wilder couldn't knock Stiverne out with his best shot, his right hand is powerful but i doubt that he hits harder
than Wladimir Klitschko.

Wilder has had double the fights of AJ and compare their resumes.

AJ showed how easy it is to make a fight with WK.

So until I see Wilder in with someone decent it's hard to make an argument that he will want any part of AJ.

If the fight did happen, I would favour AJ as he has far superior fundamentals.

But if Wilder caught him clear he would definitely be in a lot of trouble.

 

I guess, but the one reasonably durable fighter he fought lasted the distance. I don't doubt Wlad would have a matching record with Wilder if he fought the same guys and chose to windmill instead of punching with technique

 

In a way, it just makes him a much more entertaining fighter.

I don't know if I would've been more impressed with Joshua had he stopped Wladimir in the 5th. Seeing him go through the adversity in the 6th round and than finding his 2nd wind and stopping Wladimir in the championship rounds was something to behold. He showed an abundance of class, heart and resiliency in that fight (actually, both men did!) Very entertaining HW and I'd love to see him try to unify after Wladimir decides on if he's going to take the immediate rematch.
