I have the strangest feeling that this fight is going to live up to the hype and we will see a legit war.

Hopefully I am right but I keep on going back to Spences words to Brook "Stay in the middle of the ring, don't run".

I give Brook a lot of stick but he's a proud man and he does seem to be driven by a lot of the criticism he was getting about potentially ducking his first tough mandatory

Often in life a cornered animal is at its most dangerous and I actually expect Brook to go out on his sword. I am pretty sure he wont run.

I think this fight is more likely a Hagler vs Hearns than GGG vs Canelo that's for sure

Even though i am rooting for spence i ****ing hate the "dont run. Stand and fight me" if you can tag a guy and get out unharmed with footwork and movement it is prob the best way to convince judges of a clear victory. It also frustrates your opponent and we all know how a frustrated fighter performs

This is boxing, it aient rockem sockem robots

I'm not even sure where this running thing comes from. Brook wants this fight in the middle of the ring.

I think you are wrong about GGG v Canelo not being a war simply because even if he wanted to move around alot, canelo does not have the legs to do it. And GGG is one of few fighters in this generation that is a SMART offensive powerhouse fighter.

He stalks his opponent , cuts off the ring extremly well and systematically breaks his man down.

Most guys these days blindly follow their man accross the ring constantly getting taged and clenched

I don't know if they gonna fight in the middle of the ring or on the ropes. It doesn't really matter. It's depend on how they take advantage of the presented situation. I do think that fighting Porter and GGG will better prepared Brook for Spence than fighting Bundu and Algieri prepares Spence for Brook.

That 'stand and fight' thing was just bravado from the over matched and overhyped yank.

Brook can beat you anyway he wants.

When Spence said that, he was frustrated and just kept repeating that. It was during the first face to face. It was his way of dealing with the pressure of a first big press conference.

I feel exactly the same, not only are they two top fighters they BOTH want to win by domination, both are too proud to go out in a stanker and both have the talent to make it a great great fight.

Aj v wlad of the ww's, great fights don't have a loser, all involved win in the end. sho and Paulie are going to help make it a great night.

    few days away

I think he means don't be backing away the entire fight. you can back off without backing all across the ring. Brook had been holding on for deer life of him being the bigger and stronger fighter. if you add in he's "more talented" too, you should have no problem fighting within the pocket.

That's just Spence responding from Brooks bigger stronger lifeline he's been grasping too.. you know Spence views brook a threat or he wouldn't had went to the UK over 2 weeks before.

That's proving Spence knows he's to be at his best if he wants a chance to win.. I doubt they're, wtf I just went blank. I don't have any idea what so ever on wtf I'm talking

Brook isn't going to slug it out with Spence. Every chance he gets he will hold. He will try and hold and reset Spence. They are under the impression that Spence needs to be set to punch, so if Spence goes the walk you down route he will hold spence to try and get him to reset. What he doesn't know is that Spence is a far better boxer than he is. There's a reason why he gets so much praise. People criticize his opposition, but he's had that experience in sparring(even though sparring isn't the same). Come Saturday, you guys will understand why Spence is considered so special. Spence is not one dimensional like Porter is. Porter has only one way of winning and if he take that away from him he's nothing and Brook proved that. Spence has multitudes of ways to win.

Convinced that he won't slug it out? Or convinced that Spence will outbox and beat the dog **** out of Brook? More convinced of the second.

I think the Brook jab and counter-jab are going to be key this fight. For all Spence's attributes, and there are many of them, he doesn't have a jab to complete with Brook's.

I don't know if Brook will run in this fight. But Spence certainly thinks he will. And in the Behind the Ropes, Ingle was training Brook to throw his slow inaccurate jab and get the hell out of there. So Spence could very well be right.
