How could you come this impossible conlusion "it took him a round to recover from that Lartey shot" wtf bro.
Fyi: he was caught at the bell ending round 7, in a fig h that was 7/zip against a 16/0 fighter, IN A 8 ROUND FIGHT.

It's strange how many on here clearly don't understand when fighters are being smart. Last round, it was a even round where lartey needed a ko. Same as open scoring canelo vs trout. Fans like you interpret canelo making sure he wouldn't be caught by a desperate fighter knowing he so far up (as did trout) he could only lose by ko.

The ignorant claim Spence NEEDED round 8 to recover when he was 100% by the time he sat down & canelo tired because he fought smart. Pay attention to the circumstances during fights, you'll have a much better clue, possibly

Ive put my neutral hat on but sorry I just can't make a case for Spencer at all. Kell is just superior in every aspect.

Spencer is getting battered. Simple as that.

I thought the same about Ingle giving away the game plan but maybe he only gave away part of the plan... the part which might walk Spence into how Brook is really planning to work him. Also it was sending out a message: 'Spence, you're predictable.' In the end I took it to be mind games, for what it's worth...

Yeah could be. I thought it could just be mind games too but it seemed genuine to me. I could easily be wrong about that though.

Let's be honest SPencer IS predictable. And it's far too late to do anything about it now. Definite mind games, it can't not get into Spencer's head.

Superb work from the Ingle team imo.

Chris Van Heerden is Afrikaans and lots of those guys are alcoholics these days. You can tell he's an extremely heavy drinker just from his visage. Same goes for his countryman Tommy Oosthuizen. Tommy was a fresh faced pretty boy not long ago but he's aged a lot in the last 5 years.

Phil Lo Greco is a Italian Canadian but he ain't no Arturo Gatti.

Bundu was 41 years old and shot to bits when he fought Spence. He'd also been One Timed by Keithy Thurman. In fact, he'd been Hundred's of Timed by him which is infinitely worse. And Bundu can't punch holes in wet cardboard as well.

Algieri is a blown up 140 pounder who couldn't crack an egg down in that division. He is also Manny's leftovers. Manny got that Bruce Lee power that destroys your cells, muscle, bones etc. and he bounced Algieri up and down off the canvas like a yo-yo.

And Spence has got at least 10lbs on both Manny and Ruslan. If Manny weighed as much as Spence he would've sparked Algieri out cold in 30 seconds.

Before i posted my comment, i quickly went back to the post fight decisions of both, as well as the post fight interviews, to just make sure...

Your eyes are clearly not that great, GGG was marked up way worse after 5 rounds with brook than he was after 12 with Jacobs.

GGG was actually marked around the eye after the first shot Brook landed.

This isn't some kind of 'Brook has insane power' post, its just stating a fact that to make a dent on GGG, he clearly isn't weak.

Brook has timing, speed and good power...but more importantly, experience.

Maybe its just confidence, believing that the fight is all about what Brook does. Ingle probably thinks that as long as Brook is prepared to maximum, he wins the fight.

It wouldn't be unfair to think like that, Spence's resume isn't something that would spark fear into the Ingle gym.

Watching the open work out am I the right in saying spence looks drawn?

Spence on his interview was honest enough to admit he finds it just as hard as Brook to make the weight and it's not easy.

Does Spence struggle physically or mentally though?

I know Brook's issue is mental, for years everyone knows how moody he is during fight week purely because he can't do what he wants....physically he never has an issue with it.

Dude, those two are basically 154lbers drying up to make 147 for that advantage. It's ironic that they're both the same in that way.

My only question on the fight is i just dont know what spence is. He hasnt been in with anyone until now whos an A level fighter. This fight will answer most if not all the questions some of us have about Spence.

    Yeah maybe.

A large part of Spence's rep is built off of sparring legend. Apparently, and this has actually been confirmed by numerous sources, he knocked out Floyd and gave Broner a black eye.

Well if it's largely based off of sparing legend....let's hope he doesn't freeze, away from home, with thousands of British fans going mental in Brook's back yard.

The hardest test of his career, against arguably the best in the division, in the most hostile atmosphere he will likely ever experience in his career.

Just ask Tszyu about fighting in the UK....

You have that the wrong way round as it was Floyd he gave the black eye and knocked out Broner in sparring.
