BT need to sack Steve Bunce

Bunce is a thoroughly nasty horrible man despite his attempts at joviality, when a pay packet is motivating him he would sell his own father. He called joe frazer "brown bread" he has repeatedly made sexist chauvinist remarks to women in sport ,yet now when a pay packet is waved he becomes nicola adams cheer leader.....BT sports presentation is dated...warren is reliant om the traditional 35 plus crowd...so rehashed middle and old aged faces...lillis,bunce,hart,hubbard,dempster,woodhall....all fine boxing men who know their boxing...but what gets to me most is the dated bboxnation studio,presentation,graphics and marketing...its v low rent with bunce...at least smith is bringing in a younger crowd...bunce must go....steedman is good...the old guys have their place ...as does dempster....lillis and bunce should have a weekly two hour round up show to natter but on fight night lets have new pundits....an audley harrison or danny williams...on colour commentary with rawlins and jones....pundits in studio under 35...get charlotte jackson back for titts and arse

People need to respect that Warren built boxnation from the ground up himself it's gonna take time to evolve and become like the well oiled machine matchroom is - which is what it is with the help of sky..

So the production and the staff is gonna improve as boxnation improves and it is improving; some good signings this year

 

Bunce is what he is. He's a character, he gets people talking and sometimes he lets his enthusiasm for the sport get the better of him. What I do like about him is that he still bucks the trend for sports reporters to have to have performed at the top level to be able to talk about it, which is nonsense. I like Woodhall as well, I think they work together well and there's nothing wrong with a bit of post-fight disagreement.

 

I thought Hearn was bad but those last 2 BT cards Bunce has been absolutely unbearable. The worst I've ever seen anyone at a Boxing event.

I went off Bunce based on his dishonesty about British fighters. He is more intent on building up average British fighters and fooling the fans, than he is in actually giving a genuine assessment on a fighter.

I have seen him go all in supporting Audley one minute, and he was one of the worst for talking him up. Then years later he admitted that he was never all in on Audley and was actually just cheerleading because that is was gets the casuals to watch (that was the straw that broke the camels back)

I prefer a commentator to be smart and honest. This fake patriotic act and jingoism is a real turn off.

He is also a raving coke head.

 

He can tell through the thin veneer that he is a nasty character who attempts to hide it through charm

 

I don't mind him in smaller doses. It's when he is the main presenter it's a complete car crash. Thankfully BT quickly realised as much.

I quite like Pauline so overlook his grating voice. Generally he's the only one on Sky willing to go against the house agenda too.
