this was the opponent I expected. I don't know much about Rudenko he certainly seems wilderesque level of opponent. Should be a relatively easy win for Povetkin. Give him some rounds. The main thing is how is Rudenko rated by the major organizations because Povetkin needs to knock off rated guys to move back where he belongs when the suspension lifts.
Wish it was better opponent but considering the circumstances I don't think he was going to get a big name right away.
I think Wilder was viewing this guy as a defense before he was deemed to durable by Wilder's handlers. Too risky
