    Joshua vs Chuvalo

    -Joshua has 100% KO percent.
-Chuvalo has one of if not THE best chin at heavyweight
    -Joshua has major stamina problems
    -Chuvalo had pretty good stamina
-Chuvalo never showed that amazing of skill
-Joshua beat an atg in Wlad Klitschko even though Wlad wasn't anywhere near his best
-Joshua doesn't show crazy great skill either

Chuvalo said he thought he had Foreman in their fight. That's what made me think of this topic.

Joshua stops Chuvalo ,koing him is another matter, ref's intervention is the most likely scenario, imo.

I would find it hard to believe that Chuvalo would be able to stand up to Joshua's punches were they to land flush but maybe I'm just a bit guilty of living in the moment.

Josh could possibly hurt and rock chuvalo, pile in with the punches, but he probably won't go down to the canvas. The ref would have to jump in. But it's more unlikely that chuvalo hurts and stops Joshua, not impossible but unlikely.

Everybody can be knocked out, no matter how good your chin is if you get hit with a combination by a 250 pound power puncher like Anthony Joshua, you are going down to the canvas more likely than not.

Chuvalo wouldn't have the ability to avoid getting hit. Anthony Joshua would probably knock him out.

What do you think of Joshua's power compared to Foreman's?

Chuvalo was never dropped but he could be hurt and stopped. His eye was a mess after the Quarry fight, which was going to be stopped by the doctor at the conclusion of the last round if Quarry didn't fumble the mandatory 8 count. He was stopped by Frazier when his eye gave out, and he did allow Foreman to corner him and get punches off like that. Just because Chuvalo was great at staying on his feet, I question the most durable claim.

My question..I don't believe Chuvalo can be KOed in the sense that he is put down for a 10 count. But if we are talking about a TKO ? I think he would be stopped.

    Idk.

If Joshua wants to keep his perfect KO record, maybe Chuvalo is not the best guy to fight...
But it's hard to imagine Chuvalo staying on his feet.

I don't want to answer the poll question because it's too uncomfortable.
    I hate you dago

I'm still not sure how hard Joshua hits. He landed his best on Wlad and it took him 11 rounds.

I'd say Sanders, and Brewster hit harder. Don't get me wrong, Joshua can hit. But I don't see a Lennox Lewis or Wlad Klitschko level puncher here, more like a Riddick Bowe level puncher who uses combinations not one big shot to floor or stop his man.

Having said that I think Joshua would TKO Chavalo in the later rounds.

Everytime Joshua landed his combinations, Wlad was going down to the canvas, he only really landed clean
hard punches in the 5th and the 11th round and he knocked him down 3 times, it was not like Anthony Joshua
was landing clean with every punch in the book for 11 rounds before he finished him.

Anthony Joshua doesn't need a lot of punches, most of the time he only needs one combination to knock his
opponents out, Anthony Joshua has serious punching power.

Mike Tyson knocked his most opponents out with combinations and nobody is doubting that he had amazing
power, the same with Anthony Joshua, he is knocking his most opponents out with combinations and not with
a single punch but that doesn't mean that he couldn't do it.

Tyson had as many 1 punch Ko's as just about any HW champ at world level. Tubbs Spinks Williams Berbick Botha
also savarese etienne "norris" Mathis Jr "seldon" and then there were several others that he hurt badly/dropped with asingle punch and then just finished off. Lewis was the only other one in recent history who could reliably KO contenders with one punch without punishing them first.

So over 11 rounds Joshua only landed 1 to 3 clean combinations?

Joshua would hammer Chuvalo but no knockdowns or ko here. The
fight could have its moment's with AJ suspect stamina but most likely
GC face is turned into a gory mess ( Cooney vs Young type cuts ) and
GC rescued in the 10 round.

No, but he wasn't swinging bombs for the most of the time, he boxed patiently and methodically and everytime
he was pushing forward and landed a hard punch, he hurt Wladimir Klitschko.
