Not the most obvious or blatant but it was disappointing Lennox Lewis opted to retire rather then rematch Vitali Klitschko considering how their fight ended, we could have had one of the greatest heavyweight trilogies even. Might be harsh to call it a duck I suppose.

De La Hoya deserved a Mayweather rematch too but Floyd had one of his retirements instead.

I totally disagree. Kovalev's people backed out of the purse bid that they had asked for. Furthermore they kept using the contracted to HBO excuse, but Kovalev's contract had run out, and he could have took a fight against Stevenson without any HBO interference.
