Inviting Brook, nodding and gesturing, was psychological. Not the same as allowing Brook to tee off. His guard was up when Brook hit him.

With Willie he allowed him to tee off. Also psychological and for fan pleasure. His guard was down when Willie hit him.

No lol, you're joking? GGG walked down a smaller guy and destroyed him.
He was not losing anything or any danger at any point in that fight.

Golovkin made the adjustment and knocked Brook out. Simple as that. Great fighters make adjustments.

He lost 2 rounds out of a scheduled 12 round fight. It was a wash.

Its the same story with GGG the bar is set pretty high so not living up to expectations = loss in some...

GGG didn't ko Brook in 1 = possible win for Brook...

Plus you get the full on haters...

GGG did what is needed. There are 2 sides of a coin still, he gets tunnel visioned and complacent in his attack cause he hurt Brook big time on the body in the first round and tried to get brook out if there, forsaken his defense and gotten a few licks in. It's expected for brooks to get a few in being the flashier and faster guy.

well,I guess common sense should tell us that if Brook struggled with GGG, a pressure fighter who's good at cutting off the ring then history may repeat itself this Saturday and Errol Spence will walk him down, and possibly stop him. there's a few unknown factors here. we've all seen GGG's iron chin, but don't know if Spence can stand up to those hard shots that GGG ate. but Spence and GGG both have a stalking, methodical approach to breaking down their opponent. Spence might not be as strong as GGG but he's no slouch

Brook is skilled as hell, no denying that, but to deny that GGG lets guys hit him, is the bull**** here, GGG could have boxed Brook and drug the match out for 6 or 7 rounds before finally stopping Kell, but instead of doing that, he went balls to the walls berserker on him and walked through everything Brook threw, voluntarily, because he wanted to get Kell out quicker than Canelo got Khan out, the idea of a WW going longer with him than most MW's he'd probably consider an embarrassment.

Regardless, my point about Monroe is, he tagged GGG flush more than Jacobs did in 6 rounds, going by your logic, GGG was powerless to prevent that because Willie was just so skilled, but Jacobs and Lemieux are just average and GGG blocked and parried almost everything they threw.

Which is ridiculous.... Its obvious to anyone without some form of bias that GGG is macho and likes to put on a show for the fans against featherfists, but turns into a defensive wizard when he's in with someone whop can punch.

Brook suffered a severe, potentially career threatening injury at the end of round 2. Before that happened he ewas winning the fight comfortably.
