Do you think the broken orbital bone and general ass-kicking he took at the hands of GGG has damaged him psychologically?
we already know Golovkin ruined his eye but lucky for brook his trainer pulled him out at the RIGHT moment otherwise Golovkin would of finished his career............. the shots he took from golovkin was sickening and TOOK YEARS OFF HIM
The butt stomping shouldn't be an issue, because he basically did quite a bit better as most predicted. He came out of that fight in higher regard as he went in imo. His orbital bone might cause an issue if he takes a couple of big punches. That's one of the unknown factors in this bout.
Do you think Brook has any dandy in him? He seemed scared in the Golovkin fight. Does he normally fight scared?
It was hardly a Calzaghe Lacy beat down. Stopped at the right moment to save the eye and the career. I think the eye will hold up fine
Other than the eye, he really didn't take very much damage, Had the fight gone 10 rounds, it may have been a different story.
All of his posturing during the fight meant sh*t to me.(it's actually an unsophisticated psychological defense mechanism) I saw the look in his eyes and the deep gulps he was taking. That guy was inwardly screaming for joy when the fight was stopped.
