I DID NOT NAME HIM POLLO!! The Mexican fans he embarrassed did. I just happen to think its very apt considering his cowardly actions.. BUT. if he legitimately beat GGG in a 100 % fair fight I'D BE THE FIRST TO CONGRATULATE HIM

For sure and re the ref well I've no worries there as Canelo doesn't fight like SoB but the judges are a worry as Floyd Mayweather could attest to,I mean if a so called non bias judge could find six rounds to Canelo that night then what would GGG have to do to win over twelve rounds?
Strange scenario here actually and one I'm struggling to think if it's happened before in that it's often said one has to take th belts off the champion but here we will have the opposite on account of being the A side,Mayweather who was always the A side always had a belt or two to bring to the table.

If the victory is emphatic - Yes.

If it's Ward Kovalev type of a result maybe not so much.

If it's a close decision like Kovalev/SOB, then no....................the judges will be owned by Oscar, everyone knows that, Eastern European fighters are hated in America, but esp. Vegas, he can't get a fair decision there, but I suspect Oscar will insist on Texas, where the judges will all be for El Pollo, the worst and most crooked referee in boxing history Lawrence Cole will be there to protect El Pollo, his father is the boxing commissioner, that's how he got the job.

Well worry about that if it does happen against Golovkin. Until then its just hysteria.

The main point is that both men will be in top form and we will see who is the better fighter.

I'm very excited for this fight, it should be a action packed fight at a very high level. Rare these days.

No point in worrying about a robbery everyday. Even Canelo can get robbed. Oscar was robbed twice despite him being the biggest cash cow.

Be happy the fight was made when they said it was.

I'm pretty confident that Golovkin stops Canelo, even if his arthritis plays up ;) On the other hand if he beats the feathers off him and gets stiffed by Canelo's "special" judges prepare for more complaints than when Italy got stiffed by Korea in the 2002 World Cup :deal:

On the other hand if GGG looks like Cheeseburger Junior and gets the french fries beaten off him all night, I'll probably just go hang myself :hang

Yes. Both are in their prime, both are hungry and both are getting into this fight with something to prove.

GGG in his prime at 35yrs?you have to be kidding.

Canelo needs to somewhat dominate GGG to get full respect.

and yes i'm Canelo fan. I just call it how i see it.

So Canelo needs to dominate a fighter who has dominated his opponents for 7 years so that you can give him full credit?? LOL

Figures why you only have 5 likes.

about 2 years ago, i made a post saying how ggg should fight canelo now because in 2 years time canelo will have improved too much and ggg will have declined enough for canelo to beat him. so, canelo has already gotten 2 years of credit from me. if ggg wins, then i underestimated gggs longevity.

Golovkin is very lucky that Canelo has rushed to get in with the best fighters. Most 26 or 27 year olds today would not have fought the string of top fighters Canelo has.

Yes?GGG was much better couple of years ago.usually in every sports age catch up.

timing is a shitty thing in boxing.

and of course Canelo is Best MW if wins against GGG. Because GGG is still best.but not the same fighter he used to be.

will you give somebody really credit if they beat Floyd for example.

Now i'm 31 soon.i'm not professional athlete.but already see that little bit slower, reactions, recovery basically everything goes downhill very slowly but surely.it's the human law.

Boxing is sport where your reactions and everything needs to be on game.only if your style is very "smart" you can overcome that to some degree.Hopkins proved that and some other fighters.

however i don't think GGG has anything close the same style as Hopkins.or other who were great at longer age.

Big Hopkins supporter here.one thing amazing about B-Hop that he started boxing at younger age.was still learning when almost 40.
