You're thinking one-sided schooling or KO of Golovkin? Don't think so really, he's not that old yet Canelo isn't going to move like Jacobs or punch like Brook (speed/success wise) nor do I think he's got Lemmys power. But surprises happen in match-ups like this, I'll enjoy the fight what-ever the outcome.
I don't think we'll see a KO, and I consider this fight a very close fight with the younger more tactical fighter having the edge, going to a UD. But if it is one sided it will be Canelo being to fast, to accurate, and too experienced for Golovkin.
It's hard for me to see Canelo as more tactical or experienced knowing Golovkin's style is based on patient / tactical demolition and his background. Pro fights or not, having over 300 fights and just a few losses means he knows his ****, 93% KO rate before the last fight also would suggest that he's a smart operator. In other words, he's been there, done that n' got the T-shirt. Not taking anything away from Canelo, but having Golovkin constantly in his face pressing and throwing to body/head at weird angles might be too much. Just don't forget to praise the winner even if it's not who you'd want it to be.
SOB lost that fight, Kovalev beat him. WBA will now start to suspend judges, such as the ones for the Rlikh fight...........SOB said that neutral judges would be unfair! LOL! What an SOB that cheat is. I expect the fight to take place in TexASS, with Mexican judges or bought off judges, the referee will probably be Lawrence Cole, the most criminal referee in boxing history.............plus Cole would not be a referee if his father had not been the boxing commissioner. I expect Golovkin to knock El Pollo out, if the referee can't get between them and protect El Pollo..................I will only accept the decision if it's fair and not a pure robbery, but El Pollo had to have a rematch clause in the contract, Golovkin was not allowed the same, I suspect it will be the same with the judges, referee, boxing commission, etc., venue/fans influence on judges, etc.
Well we have to see how the fight plays out before knowing if a fighter deserves full credit. If we have a Coggi-Gonzalez 1 or Lazarte-Solis 1 type fight, then it wouldn't make sense to give them full credit. But I'm sure even if it's a clear win for one fighter, people will find reasons to whine.
This content is protected I'm hoping for a KO either way otherwise the aftermath will be unbearable for at least a month.
That depends on how he is given credit for a win. Too much ref interference in favor of one fighter makes it an unfair contest and the subsequent decision bogus. For example, I have seen refs protecting a boxer from getting knocked out by calling for a break at crucial moments in order to give him time to regain his senses. Also, seen them deducting points from one fighter for fouls while permitting the other fighter to foul all night long. Or taking their sweet time to break a clinch in order to provide the hurt fighter from getting KO'd. Some interfere the action at crucial moments when their fighter is getting hurt in order to get a glove taped properly or retrieve a mouthpiece. Others use repeated breaking to prevent a fighter from fighting on the inside where he is most effective. In such cases the win goes to the ref. It also depends on how the judges score the fight. The third Ali Norton fight is an example of just how biased judges can be. If the supposedly objective judges provide such blatantly skewered decisions, then obviously their chosen winners should get no credit. In short, what happens tonight doesn't just depend on what the boxers themselves bring to the table.
Don't think GGG willl get much credit at all for a fight he's supposed to win easily. Now if Canelo should win that's a whole different story. GGG will be ridiculed.
I don't think GGG will be ridiculed, he will just be seen as a good fighter who lost the moment he fought someone he wasn't a huge favorite over.
