oh, i understand. i understand that youre fairly ignorant and talk out your ass about things you dont understand. the fact that you believe humans can run 1 minute miles tells me that you pick up tid bits of information but dont have the mental capacity to put them together to form a working model. in other words, your ears send facts straight to your mouth, bypassing your brain.[/QUOTE]

There's nothing about a human which suggests they cannot run a one minute mile.

Whether likely, or unlikely, claiming it is 'impossible' is factually incorrect.

actually theres encyclopedias worth of info that suggest a human cant run a 1 minute mile. but like a stated in my previous post, you dont have the mental capacity to take those encyclopedias and form a working hypothesis.

Holmes era was better because the contenders all fought each other (Weaver, Witherspoon, Page, Thomas, Coetzee, Dokes). Even if Holmes wasn't fighting big fights, big fights were getting made. In the Klitschko era contenders refused to fight each other because they were afraid to lose their place in line to fight one of the Klitschkos.

i think a more reasonable comparison would be the klitchsko era vs the marciano era. The holmes era was actually a very competitive and relatively golden age of boxing compared to klitschko's and marciano's time. Not scitting on WK or RM. It's not their fault boxing went through some really dormant periods, but to me, the weakness of the opposition at the time, makes them less than great...i give marciano's the edge over klitchko....walcott and moore were ancient, and charles was over the hill, but at least they were world class. klitschko was really just an ordinary fighter with a huge physique and unwatchable style dominating a division devoid of any viable talent.

    You claimed something was 'impossible'.

Your only proof was 'suggestion' not 'facts'.

    Sorry.....

i hope youre younger than 15 and your ignorance is just due to age, otherwise, you probably spend a lot of time wondering why everyone around you just passes you by while you blame bad luck, or immigrants, or the guvment, etc...

    The irony here is unreal.

Call me 'ignorant', yet you claimed in another thread that England was full of child predators.

You can't call something 'impossible' based on 'suggestion'.
If you went back to the 1900's it would've been suggested that it would be 'impossible' to be a Black President....times change.

State of you man, it's embarrassing.

i posted a list of pedophile rings that have been uncovered in the uk, just the big ones that made world news, and i challenged you, or anyone else for that matter, to show me a similar list for any other country illustrating similar levels of coordination between predators to prey on children under the age of 16. is anything i posted a lie? are you going to provide evidence that all countries have similar systems set up for kiddie ****ers to thrive?
1 in 20 britts was sexually abused as a child, which means you have to have more than a dozen pedos right here on this forum, because the biggest thing in common that pedos have, is the fact that they were sexually abused themselves. these are statistics based on provable facts, who knows how many have never been caught and added to the statistics. again, is any of this a lie?
you claimed a 1 minute mile was thought to be impossible at one time, guess what, it still is, because it was the 3 minute mile that had proved so elusive. of course, your dumb ass read that somewhere and your little brain mixed that up with a 1 minute mile and you decided to jump in on a forum and show everyone the vast expanse of your knowledge. anyone with any education and the brains to employ that education, would have immediately questioned such a statement because a cheetah, at its fastest, can barely crack the 1 minute mile.
now instead of ignoring all the facts thrown your way, and concentrating on crying about stuff that makes you look even dumber, why dont you provide some facts that will prove anything i have posted to be incorrect, or false.

Holmes era was strong. But he didn't fight Coetzee, Page, Thomas, Dokes, and a few others, so his oppositon did not end up being better than Wladimir Klitschko's with exception to the man who knocked him cold.

Holmes didn't need to fight those guys...page turned out to be dud who lost to berbick, witherspoon and bey, all of whom were holmes victims. there was some talk about a holmes-coetzee fight, but it got delayed because holmes was against going to south africa...then coetzee got ko'd by weaver, another holmes victim. pinklon thomas also lost to berbick which disqualified him for a shot at holmes at the time. and dokes struggled with bonecrusher smith, a guy holmes defeated. so, there is no deficiency in holmes record. wlad, on the other hand, folded against guys like sanders, purrity and brewster, guys that holmes would have manhandled. fortunately for wlad brewster was pretty much the last of any credible american hw's before the onset of the abysmal 10 year period between 2005 snf 2015

It seems that you are basing your opinion solely on size alone.

SHW's with skill would be harder to fight than 210 pounders wouldnt they? there was no sub 210 pounder with power,it would be like Byrd trying to beat W. klitchko in those terms. And Byrd was better than Witherspoon. Should Wlad fight the holmes era he would coast for sure bc they were primarily tall jabbers who didnt hit as hard...what would be more threatening to him?

what would be more threatening to Holmes? i would say Sanders/Byrd/Povetkin and Haye wouldnt you? These types. i give credit for Holmes win over Cooney but that really was a green Cooney .That would really be only one guy that fits into a category threat for Wlad bc he could punch and was also 6'5/6'6.
