Is Murat Gassiev better P4P than Beterbeast?

It remains to seen IMHO. We need to see how Gassiev does against Usyk, Briedis, etc. or at HW, while, even more importantly, we need to see Beterbiev against the best in his division.

From my eye test they look similar p4p, maybe Beterbiev a little higher right now but Gassiev is young and can improve.

 

Based on their amateur records - no. Based on their professional performance - yes. Beterbiev has nothing even close to Lebedev on his list as a pro. Actually I feel Beterbiev's career as a pro has been badly mishandled and his huge potential probably mostly squandered. The thing that stood out about Gassiev n the Lebedev fight was not his power (everyone who has followed him was aware he was a monstrous puncher) - it was the boxing skils he displayed. In short, I feel that since turning pro Beterbiev has somewhat gone down, while Gassiev has shown dramatic improvement.

 

Gassiev is bigger than Beterbiev though, so if we're discussing P4P qualities we have to take that into account. Also, Lebedev would be a bad match up for Beterbiev IMO.

Gassiev is a better pro.

 

Beterbiev is a light heavyweight,not a cruiserweight. He is really good fighter, but he should stay at 175............he needs to be an active fighter, too inactive............

 

If we're talking P4P, we're not talking about Beterbiev moving up to Cruiserweight, we're comparing how good they both are in their respective weight classes.
I think as Kiwiman said, they're about the same on a H2H level but I think Beterbiev has the most potential of any prospect this generation IF he really utilises a rough, mauling style.
