If there's no catchweight then I think Lemieux wins, I just don't think Cotto can KO him and I don't think Cotto would last the full distance with Lemieux at this stage in his career.

David Lemieux Had Surgery To Repair a Torn Meniscus

It was revealed that former IBF middleweight champion David Lemieux had surgery in July to repair a torn meniscus in his knee, according to information obtained by the Journal de Montreal.

The issue first started when 27 year slugger (35-3, 32 KOs) complained of pain in his knee after his lopsided domination of Glen Tapia, which took place on the Canelo Alvarez vs. Amir Khan undercard this past May at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

This injury did not, however, affect his performance against Tapia as he controlled his opponent from one end to the other. The confrontation was concluded when Tapia's coach threw in the towel between rounds.

After extensive medical examinations, Lemieux went under the knife quickly enough to repair the damage. This forced its promoter Camille Estephan to postpone his return fight from the 24th of September to the 22nd of October.

The boxer has been back in the gym for a few weeks and everything is going very well. Lemieux will be ready as planned for his next challenge.

Nope. Cotto beats Ishida, Macklin, MAYBE a undead Geale. Stevens and Rubio is a 50/50. LeMule KOs Cotto and Jacobs would win 10-2/9-3.

This is as good as I'd hope for from Cotto as this point. Anything that stops him fighting JMM works for me.

I dont think thats a good idea for Cotto... I dont understand why he insists on fighting at middleweight.. Cotto is NOT a middleweight.. I admit it would be an interesting fight if they were closer in size but I dont get why Miguel would put himself through this... Its not neccesary.. Much more risk than reward at this stage in his carreer... I forgot to say unless theyre planning on draining David.. lol you never know nowadays

Yes I do, and???? How is this relevant? He lost 2-1 when he was working under Diaz.

I'm officially giving him a new moniker. CCC aka Cripple Crusher Cotto

    He's already a 2 weight cripple crusher

    Cripple Foreman's belt at 154
    Cripple Sergio's at 160

And I'm sure he either tried to arrange match ups against cripple Darren Barker and cripple Sam Soliman too, or at least there was talk of them possibly happening.

And now he's gunning for Lemieux after getting wind that he had to undergo surgery on a torn meniscus. This cripple crushing clown literally has no shame. No fighter in history has fought more opponents with gammy knees or tried to arrange fights against them lol
