this is why i respect you as a poster, you tell it like it is without arranging facts to fit an agenda. even when i disagree with you, i still have to consider your point of view because i know theres truth in there.

I totally get why people come after me, I can be somewhat belligerent and I have no problem with people calling me biased, because I am, only I'm willing to admit it when others are not, but that has zero to do with how I mod. Whereas Kirk, I have no idea how anyone can find a reason to attack him, he's always pretty pleasant, and like you said gives a well reasoned argument. But that's probably why so many on here dislike he and I, we're not pushovers that buy into their bull**** propaganda they're selling to unwary posters and call them out on it, and can easily discredit and destroy everything they're attempting to spew.

i understand completely, im as abrasive as they get and im very self aware of the image most posters have of me, and why. i know im often an *******, but i dont peddle bull****.
i get a kick out your bias, because i know its mostly tongue in cheek and it comes from harmless fight fan preferences, which make debating interesting.
i have no problem with the mods, as i think they are pretty even handed when dealing with the knuckleheads.

Cotto will not get anywhere near a ring with Lemieux. Quote me on that.

Either this is part of the deal he struck with GBP, so he could get the massive paydays he craves, or this fight isn't happening.
Lemieux has already stated many times that he isn't going to do catchweights below 160 for anyone (not even Canelo), so this would be against a fully fledged Lemmy.

As this is Cotto's farewell year, it looks like Lemmy gets a name on his resume ODLH vs B-Hop style. Cotto gets his ride into the sunset paydays, Lemmy gets his big name (KO) win and GBP makes more money of him in the future that way.
    Everybody wins.

Lemieux is vastly overrated and a one trick pony, admittedly that trick is that he possesses the hardest single shot at 160 so can KO anybody, but Cotto is streets ahead from a technical skills standpoint. I give King Cotto the edge here, if Lemmy doesn't catch him in the first few rounds he is more or less done because he has no gas tank and Cotto (even at 45 years old) will prove too elusive while racking up the rounds, cruising to a decision win or even a stoppage a la rumble in the jungle. Really hope this one gets made.

Cotto is turning 37, has been through countless wars and out for 21 months and never had the best out of ring habits. history tells us he's probaby not going to be the same fighter as he was 2015 and even then he was already 7 years past his peak/prime. Lemieux at this stage of his career is too dangerous. However i feel Cottos performance against Canelo was one of the greatest of his career, at his age after all the wars against a MUCH bigger younger opponent he id a great job and passed the torch valiantly

He beat the corpse version of Geale. I'd favour a proper 160 version of Geale over him, and I certainly favour Lemieux over Cotto. If Cotto beats a full 160 Lemieux, that's his best win. Cotto shouldn't even be at MW, imho.

My brain would melt. It's not even a possibility in my opinion. Not unless Lemieux trains with Eric Crumble or something.

Interesting fight. Superior size and power Vs superior skills and speed. Would definitely watch.

I actually think this might just be a bait technique by the promoters to get people interested in the next cotto fight/fights.

Yep, Cotto will never fight at 160 unless it's a cashout against Canelo.
And certainly not a low money Lemeuix fight, he would get destroyed :sisi1
