Canelo is not good enough at his footwork. I'm not convinced of his stamina too.. and he has a habit of standing for too long against the ropes (it happens almost in every fight of his), which will be a suicide against Golovkin. And I can hardly believe that he can hurt him. Also, I think Golovkin will be mentally better prepared. He will be motivated to go there and destroy Canelo. From the interviews that I saw recently, I had the impression that Canelo may underrate Golovkin's skills, which may lead him to reveal his holes in the defense just as he does with other his opponents periodically, thinking that he can get away with this. So, while Canelo may be able to land some good combinations early in the fight, in the end I see him getting KOed between 6 and 9 rounds.
Golovkin breaks Canelo down in 8 to 10. I don't think he clean KO'S Canelo but a systematic breakdown, but Canelo is definitely a live dog in the fight. His crisp combination punching will pose GGG problems for the first half of the fight imo.
3 years ago Golovkin would of knocked him out inside 4 rounds Todays Golovkin most likely beats him down breaks him down and stops him in the late rounds
Canelo will try to plant his feet and counter Golovkin then end up being dropped early, he will then jab, box and move landing combos but never hurting Golovkin and win a highly disputed split decision.
Anyone know the odds, if good I'm almost tempted to take canelo. Very difficult fight to predict. Very single outcome is on the table, literally every one
