Connecticut’s Glenn Feldman, Nevada’s Dave Moretti and New Jersey’s Steve Weisfeld From the scene. Kathy Duva better not ***** (no pun intended) after the fight.
great another fixed decision for andre ward. lol . never liked him to be honest but the way he acted after the 1st kov fight has made him my least favorite current boxer. hopfully Kov finishes him off early this time.
here we go again, insurance policy in place! Ward will win every close (ish) round, p4p 1, unbeaten since the beginning of time etc etc, yada yada same ole story
Kovalev has lived in America for 8 years, his kids are Americans and he is probably in the process of getting citizenship himself. So what?
LOL of course it does. It's a world title fight between a Yank and a Russian, in Yankland.......the judges should all be from neutral countries or at least 1 from each country with the 3rd one neutral.
Kovalev should've known he needed to do more the first time around. I had him winning but there was no way he was getting the benefit of the doubt here (seriously, Ward swept the 10th on the judges cards). Nothing will change. Kovalev better be ready to either knock Ward out or take 9 rounds clearly, hoping they give him 7. If he doesn't adapt to that, that's a misfire (again) on his part. Also, LOL at anyone who honestly believes a Russian will win on the cards in a close fight over the last American gold medalist and the guy who is being looked at as the face of U.S. boxing now that Floyd is retired.
With the current climate of Anti Russian propaganda, and sentiment in this country, Kovalev won't win, unless he KO's Ward.
Seriously, again? They're supposed to mix the judges descent up to have an impartial judging. Clearly that is not the goal here.
