Thomas's punches don't have a lot of effect but he's scoring points with fast flurries now, and clean shots. Speed difference is pretty huge. Thomas listened to his corner and did what they wanted for the most part. I doubt he can keep up this pace but it worked for this round. Allen didn't do much.

Got to love the biased British commentators.

Thomas is boxing Allen's ears off in round 4, and all they say is 'oh Thomas is wasting too much energy beating Allen up, surely he'll fade in the upcoming rounds'

 

I like Thomas, I want to see him back. He's a decent boxer. Good future opponent down the line for Dubois and Gorman.

That was a knockdown for Allen not called. Replay made it look sketchy, I won't argue about it. Thomas still trying to box but Allen is putting out more damage with the few punches he's landing. Froch showing concern for Allen's lack of head movement still taking clean shots.

 

Allen is a basic plodder but it looks as if he's starting to wear him down.

How did Froch give Allen round 1? Thought that was clear for LT.

Despite not taking punches all that well, I have to go with Thomas's clean punching. Just too many clean shots landing on Allen to take that round.

Surprised by Thomas' longevity here. Such a big guy and only flew in on Thursday but he looks like he can just about get through the 12.
