I knew that Spence's body work would always be the difference in the fight. I predicted him to stop brook in 10. Spence is like a old school Mexican fighter with his dedication to the body which is a lost art today. What most people here don't realize is that Spence's game plan revolved around his body work and not targeting Brooks eye. It was his body work that he invested in that led to brook slowing down and Spence busting him up. :deal:
I don't see anyone at 147 beating spence not even Crawford if he moves up he's too much of a physical specimen for Crawford to deal with. Thurman woukd get broken down and stopped he already doesn't like it to the body. And everyone else isn't even worth talking about. If spence moves up to 154 he will find a work there Charlo would give him a fight but if he stays at 147 he will rule the division.

It was Spence's body work and his work in the clinch when brook held. Spence was busting up that left eye ever time Brook held. That **** worked on Porter because Porter is 1 dimensional. I've told people that Spence is not one dimensional. He acn beat you in a multitude of ways.

Crawford would be the toughest opponent for Spence jr cause he has great skills.

Spence jr beats the rest at 147.

I've said many times before this fight that Spence is the real deal.

Spence is a very sound fighter. He's got a good long jab and he fights off it.

He was working Brook in the clinch all fight and Brook got worn out. He got a dogging. And in that last round Brook saw how much of a dog SPence is, how strong he was and quit. it's that simple.

No it didn't. People are always trying to anoint Thurman the WW king. He needs to earn it by beating the other champs.

Agreed. Spence really ground him out with those vicious body punches. Turning point of the fight was one of the later rounds were Spence hit him with 20 some unanswered to the body on the ropes, Brook slowed down a lot after that.

I disagree, although Crawford is great, he's just not big enough to compete with Spence.

Spence is the real deal 100%!

That's a bit of an exaggeration. Brook deserves credit for giving us an excellent fight, and it was a close fight through the first 9 or so rounds.

But yeah Spence is the truth. Not necessarily the unbeatable monster that some claim but clearly the real deal and no hype job. He showed real toughness and heart to go along with his physical and technical attributes.

you and I, Spence proved everything that I've been claiming he has in him. I truly didn't know his chin is better than good. he ate many clean bombs from brook and dished out punishment for even clipping him.

he'd rip through Thurman body much quicke r than Brooks, brook is an absolute beast but he and his corner h ave quit in them. when the going gets tough, the bail out, horrible.

nobody at ww even has a chance with Spence, brook was the haters and trolls only option and Spence just abused brook

spence lost 4 of the first 5 rounds. then in the sixth his dispositioned changed he looked more relaxed and more focused like yeah I deserve to be here. He dominated after that. He looked sloppy the first five rounds but this fight made him mentally more of a champion than any belt could ever do.
