I think when you go for the body that many times, there's bound to be moments when your shot gets altered and you hit a tad low. At times you got for the belt and you miss.

Not sure he aimed that intentionally, never seen him low blow anyone else on purpose.

It was an epic ass fight though.

I agree in theory it just depends when that actually happens. Will Errol still be there by then? He's a very big lad for 147 already.

Gutted for Kell but very impressive performance by Spence. I'm still not sold on him being as good as many have been building him up to be (ie. the heir apparent to the P4P throne) but he's an excellent fighter with a very promising future ahead of him and I think he has the potential to unify and rule the roost at 147. Thurman will have something to say about that though. I really like his body attack and the way he seamlessly mixes it up from head to body. He also comes across very well outside of the ring too and is very likeable.

As for Brook, I do think making the weight took its toll on him during the second half of the fight, although Spence's work to the body in the first 4 or 5 rounds certainly played a part in that too. I think Spence's extra bit of hand speed was enabling him to get off first most of the time and that caused Kell a lot of problems too. Kell was holding and spoiling quite a lot trying to contain Spence and smother his attacks.

I don't have a problem with the ending Kell had noticeably slowed down during the second half of the fight and even when he was wilting badly and it looked like he was about to be overwhelming he fought back courageously, most noticeably in that electric 10th round.

The Barrea fight really showcased his talent in my view so I would not put that one of the list but other than that fight I can't disagree about the ones you listed.

I don't recall anyone steam rolling like this is a long time after feasting on lower level guys; however, if there has been another I'm sure you will correct me...LOL

    Possibly Fury

Who goes from Chisora/Hammer/Abell to Klitschko?

That was a really sudden jump in class.

Completely agree, the kid is 100% class. He's not trying to trying to cheap shot anyone, he believes in his ability and I doubt he'd want to win thinking he'd done so unfairly. Special talent. Kell gave a hell of an account of himself over the first 8 rounds but Spence is the future of the division and it showed. Spence answered all the questions tonight.

Kell showed great heart, that was not a quit job.

Your vision is way way more important than a title belt.

There's a chance he could have lost his vision if that fight went on. He looked like he couldn't see out of that eye in the 11th, he was blinking like crazy.

Maybe Brook shouldn't have been grabbing, holding and pulling Spence head and neck down so much then

People talk about Brook's power like it is different level but I've always said it's nothing special. He has never scored a KO against a really good boxer. He just has above average power.

Well needs to move up to 154 providing his eye heals well.

Regarding Groves vs Chudinov. Firstly, I'm really pleased for Groves and I found his emotional speech about Eddy Gutknecht very touching. Secondly, Chunidov's chin is made out of pure iron. His defence is atrocious but I can't believe he was able to remain vertical under that sustained assault from Groves. The crazy thing is he was still perfectly compus mentis when the ref jumped in. He's a really nice guy so I couldn't help but feel for him too.

I think this was all part of Brook's masterplan - get both eyes titanium'd up in successive fights, then come back as t' Sheffield Terminateh.

Don't see him being a major force in the division?

Isn't he--by dint of just beating a major force of the division--a major force in the division?
