Brook is solid but he spent 14 years at welterweight with just Shawn Porter to show for it. Time to go to 154.
Kahn and Canelo have nothing to do with this, not sure why you're bringing them into it. But since you did, Canelo would stop Brook just like GGG and Spence have. Brook, is/was simply a big welter with very decent skills but nothing special. And of course you think he's better than Canelo, but you've already admitted how biased you are about Brook so we'll leave it at that.
After reading the other day that you thought Brook would have beaten Golovkin if not for the eye injury (I think it was you) I know you are biased for sure but I think it is commendable that you realise and admit your own bias (we all have them) and also that you are not making excuses for the loss against Spence. Brook is a class act and a great fighter, let's hope we see him back in action soon decapitating queen Khan or moving up to take Hurd's belt. Can totally see Kell beating Canelo too.
I would pick both Brook and Spence to beat Canelo. Vastly superior boxers, I don't see a single thing Canelo does as better than either Brook or Spence, except have better eye sockets.
I had Brook 5-1 up vs Spence after 6. Is that biased? I would pick both to beat quicksand Canelo. Different levels.
I didn't score the fight but Kell definitely edged more of the early rounds and the bookies had the fighters at equal prices half way through in the bet-in-play market. Canelo isn't mobile enough to beat Brook in my view, I see Kell moving in and out all night and boxing the ears off him to win a clear decision. Who would you like to see Brook fight next ideally?
Hehe. I KNOW you are a really big Canelo fan. The sad thing is, Matthew Hatton vs Canelo was a relavilityl cloes fight, in fact Matty thinks it was a robbery. Brook dominated him two fights later and Matt said that Brook is far more accurate and a much bigger puncher than Canelo. Tonight proved one thing, both Spence and Brook would have no trouble with Canelo. No trouble at all with someone who's feet are stuck in quicksand. Mayweather didn't have trouble, Lara didn't have trouble and neither would fighters the calibre of Spence or Brook. By your 'logic' I could say "Canelo's is barely better than Matthew Hatton...hehe."
The only thing special about him was how long it took him to get exposed considering he went pro in 2004.... back to fighting milkmen and cab drivers for brook......hearn licking his lips
