i could see that if ggg is starting to slide off the cliff, but i dont think his last 2 fights are an indication of where he is at. his last fight was against what could be, if he chose to, a very talented super middleweight. and the previous fight went just like ggg told everyone it would go.

I know. It's a joke. Just like this thread -- "How long would a welterweight last with a dominant middleweight champ?"

Yes, WW's have and can move up. Some successfully, but it's usually a fighter who has proven himself over quite some time as a clear star and dominant champ at 147 ... and mostly one who is beginning to outgrow the weight.

But to make a thread about a fight that's not been proposed and would seem to have little or no chance of ever being proposed ... I don't get it.

Let's say the world agrees that GGG stops him in three rounds or less ... is that speculation supposed to confirm GGG's greatness somehow?

And I think it's even funnier given the reaction of GGG fans (I like him, but I'm not in love with him) when someone DARE suggest that he actually should move up to challenge himself against Andre Ward just ONE weight class up.

I don't think he's on the decline to be honest, I just think his vulnerability these days has more to do with him stepping up his competition, rather than putting him on the decline. Spence is a big dude, and would put up a challenge, if not, beat GGG, if he can take GGG'S big shots. That's the million dollar question.

spence is pretty much the same size as brook and i expect ggg to have the same comment as he did after brook, "he is not a middleweight".

brook and spence are very even the only difference last night was the eye socket

GGG will also call spence "nothing" and say he is not a middleweight

Golovkin is not brook lol Golovkin hurt brook with just one shot that took his world from under him.......

Golovkin would knock out spence WHEN he wants and call him nothing and not a middelweight

Exactly. GGG is a middleweight, putting Spence in there with him would be a massive mismatch much like GGG - Brook was.

Brook made a huge mistake fighting Golovkin, Brook is a very brave fighter, but his heart is bigger than his common sense................I respect him, but Golovkin hits hard for a middlweight, much less hitting a welterweight...........Let's see Spence fight Golovkin, get knocked out, then fight Brook in a rematch and see what happens.....................I really think Thurman will beat Spence, but watch out for the criminal judges and referee. Porter will beat Spence. I suspect the fight with Danny Garcia in Texas might be next, since Thurman has to recoved from surgery.............
