    I don't know how good he really is and an even bigger question about Chudinov....................I think Groves is a slight favorite, Groves had better not blow this chance......................

    Read that the referee stopped that fight too soon. I did not see the fight. Did the ref stop it too soon?

    Fair stoppage imo never threw a punch for over 50 seconds Groves was unloading at will

    Agree, Chudinov was tough but so was Gutnecht... He wasn't going to win and Groves was unloading at will in the 6th...

    No way was this too soon. Chudinov was taking clean punches for 50 seconds without returning anything. He's an extremely tough man and managed to somehow keep upright but no way could a ref allow him to keep taking those punches.

    Was a great win for Groves. This guy Chudinov gives anyone a tough fight. There's some great fights at super middleweight now. It's always a great division.

    Ed Gutnecht would not be in the sad state he is today if the referee had done his job properly.

    Another 2 mins and Chudinov would have suffered the same fate.

    If anything, the fight should have been stopped much earlier.

    Very good stoppage, Groves was landing cleanly without anything coming back and landing clean with power punches.

    Anyone else think groves,s gameplan was terrible last nite. He got the job done hoping he just felt he could bully the smaller man last night. But watched them first two rounds through my fingertips at times. Done pretty much everything wrong. You ve got a guy who,s a very very good outside fighter trying to inside fight all nite. Frustrates the life out me. Good win in the end and showed off the power etcs still good. But thats defo not the right style for groves imo. Get away with it against the boy last nite...but no sure it,ll end well against the better guys.

    Who do you think Groves will fight next? Will he go for Degale off the bat or take a defence first. Think he could be matched with Abraham with the Sauerland connection.

    Definitely stopped at the right point or that could've been long term damage, what a game fighter he was though, thought Groves got tagged quite a bit early rounds, some with a better punch might have him dancing

    The stoppage was 100% the right call, nobody can argue with it.

    Chudinov is as tough as they come, but Groves can bang and he was shipping some heavy shots with no answer coming back.
