WTF are you talking about? First it was a different eye. Two spence was up 4-2 after 6 rounds. Spence basically dominated brook he killed him with his body attack which slowed brook down. Ggg had nothing to do with this. Lastly you're a spence hater you've been hating on him for years and picking against him. You have no credibility when discussing him and have an agenda.

 

I am a Brook fan and lost not an insignificant amount of money on this fight. Brook did what he could and it just wasn't enough. It really can't be realistically denied just how good Spence is. I now think that Spence would have beaten Brook fairly handily if Brook had not fought Golovkin beforehand.

Spence was not up on the scorecards after r6 it was brook. Not sure where you got that info. The Mexican judge had the fight closer coming into the 7th. After the eye injury it went all down hill for brook and spence had comfortable points lead.

 

The eye that G ruined had nothing to do with this fight, unless you're speaking from a psychological perspective. As far as Brook running out of steam mid fight, is most likely due to the ferocious body attack Spence conducted from the opening round. A hater will argue that the massive weight loss is what contributed to the stamina issues Brook had. I say Spence whoops any version of Brook!

 

Yeah agree with above. Spence is just really good. Brooks been slightly overrated for a while now probably because hes a very skilled man. Plus hearn talked him up so much...almost overnite he became the best guy in the division with talking and a razor close win over porter. But hes always been beatable.

I dont think the golovkin fight made that much of a difference in last nites outcome. If anything maybe the weight but at the same time spences bodywork is a nitemare for anyone. He fires them in...thats gonna deplete anyone over a 12 round fight regardless of weight issues. The truth is a lot of people claimed spence hasnt been tested properly. He then went out and done something slightly similar to brook than he done to the rest of the lower level guys as in broke them down then finished them. The evidence points to spence being the goods for me. Brook also very good...probably the most skilled in the division but theres more to skills to winning a fight. Him against the top guys in the division is a 50/50 fight but his odds we,re never better than that imo. Albeit still a very good fighter.

Clearly the Golovkin fight wrecked Brook in more ways than one. His face, confidence, shedding muscle and probably way overboard dehydrated leading up to the Spence fight... he chased glory twice and most likely traded the rest of his career for it.

 

Golovkin had no effect on this fight. If anything the weight cut may have.

 

I agree with the premise, the question I had about the fight was what will Brook look like after GGG? I got the answer, less. It was a tough fight to score which is why all 3 judges had different cards but even before the knock down Spence was coming. I don't think that was the same fighter who rumbled with Golovkin, he should have had a tune up just for confidence . History will judge his jump to middleweight to fight GGG a huge mistake

 

Can't deny Brook fans are full of excuses just let it go Spence stopped Brook now move on

 

If the GGG fight ruined Brook, he brought it on himself. That's what you get for being "ballsy" (when in reality it's for money). He got a nice payday but possibly ended up cutting his career short.
