Sorry BM, it is 2-0 now LOL. But you will have a chance to get 1, but I think it's gonna be 3-0 , tbh.
I just remembered MVC I got you in the Garcia vs Thurman fight its 2-1 if we are being far I told you Thurman would win
Let me summarize various Eubank Jr. posts and add a few things: 1. His dad permanently injured a fighter, Michael Watson. 2. He permanently injured a fighter, Nick Blackwell. 3. He blatantly backed out of a fight with GGG, then fought a nobody instead. So based on what he's seen firsthand between he and his dad, he thinks a fighter should never quit and have the fight end the way it did for Watson and Blackwell. He also thinks that being afraid to fight someone and never going through with the fight to begin with is more virtuous than quitting during a fight to avoid permanent injury. He's slamming someone who went up TWO WEIGHT CLASSES to fight a guy that he wanted no part of. Chris Eubank Jr. may have become my most disliked fighter ever, based on a single Twitter post.
I was not impressed with spence though it was even for me until Brook's eye socket broke and brook was preoccupied with that...... Spence is a exceptional talent but I would like him to fight at mw
I'm not following you. You say you were not impressed with Spence, then you say he is an exceptional talent that you want to see fight at MW. Spence is a special talent but he should not be fighting at MW until he physically matures and fills in naturally, possibly 2 or 3 years away.
Why does everybody want to see everyone move up in weight all the time? There's only one guy who has ever been successful doing that- Pacquiao. Everyone else has lost either speed, power, or both and were never as good as they were at the lighter weights. You can go right down the line- Foster, Duran, Hearns, RJJ, Mayweather, DLH, Mosely, etc. all of them were beasts at their original weights but not as effective at the higher weights. So why would people want to see someone move up in weight and probably not be as good?
Why do you want him to fight at Middleweight? I swear sometimes I think people just want every boxer with a following to lose.
Boxers are people just like anyone else and they should feel free to express their opinions. Too many people are PC'd out, saying what someone can say and what they can't. Just because they fight for a living why should their opinions be frowned upon unless it is PC BS. I personally love hearing what these guys think. They do this for a living. Doesn't mean I am going to agree with what they all say but who cares. We should be encouraging these guys to tell us what they think, not criticize them.
These guys obviously didn't know he had a fractured orbital. I was critical of Brook for quitting, but if the docs say it was a busted eye socket you can't fault the man. If the bone is fractured, another flush punch could seriously damage the facial structure, and seriously injure the eye.
now, i dont in any way blame the eubanks for either of these incidents, but their grandstanding and self promotion on the back of them is at best in poor taste. the way they conduct themselves you would honestly think that they rather see these tragedies as some sort of macho badge of honor. very distasteful
Liam smith has such a high opinion of himself he won a vacant world title got the **** beaten out of him by canelo and got luck against Williams.
Don't celebrate Kell Brook He might be a tough bloke but he isn't a warrior. I think its pathetic how people called Khan vs Canelo a money fight and mocked it then raved about GGG vs Brook which was much worse. Brook fought GGG for the money and then quit at the first sign of adversity and then backs it up with this. I would love to see Jr fight him @ 160 he's supposed to be featherfisted but I bet Kell couldn't go 12 with him and they both walk around at the same weight apparently and Kell just cuts weight to pick on smaller guys. Kell stole that fight off him and now his career is in tatters, Kell would have been better off legacy wise fighting Vargas
