Shavers hit much harder.

Neither man had a good chin.

I'd go with Shavers.

 

I think that Ray migth have taken a punch better, but I cant make a confident pick.

 

Ray was ko'd in sparring by Charley Burley.

 

That is not the same thing as being KOd by him in a boxing match.

 

I'm aware of that, I would however suggest that if you, a large heavyweight have been ko'd by a middleweight, your chin is definitely not top drawer .

 

All kinds of strange things have happened in sparring.

 

You either have a good chin or you don't.

 

Both men hurt but shavers drops the bomb early third round and Ray s out cold.

 

This coming from the guy who said sparring is sparring?

My point is a poster picking Ray based on the premise that his chin was better than Shavers.
Being embarrassed/made to look bad in a spar is one thing, a 6'2 200lbs heavyweight being sparked out by a small middleweight is another and suggests chin issues.

Where have I lied? I asked you for verification that Joshua was knocked out , you didn't provide any. I get that you don't like me ,[as if I give a good f*ck what you think,] but try and have a valid point to criticize.
Burley was a smallish middleweight and he didn't just floor Ray he knocked him out! Spot the difference ,numb nuts?
