Still posting while on the booze, herol ?

Have you no literary shame ?

    No, my poor little cabbage-brain.

Dude said I was probably British.

    I never said I wasn't European.
I addressed with specificity what he was wrong about, specifically, being British.

Your reading skills are almost as poor as your writing.

    Oh, my.

I wonder what my therapist will say about ol' herol peekaboo putting me on ignore !

Ward needs this fight to be in Oakland or Vegas to win IMO.

Calzaghe only beat old Hopkins by a hair so it only fair to assume that Ward would've won by a few rounds.

You can't throw volume and leave yourself open against an elite level talent like Ward. That style is only effective to a certain level.

Cleverly overwhelmed the average Joe with workrate but when he came up against Kovalev he lost every minute of every round.

Ward wouldn't dominate but he would win in convincing fashion. It would look sorta like Mayweather vs Pacquiao

I already voted Ward and still believe he would have an edge over Calzaghe but if cuchulain continues on this hot streak in this thread I may just be tempted to jump ship John David Jackson style.

Please don't use Clev and Joe's name in the same sentence, not even comparable...

I don't think Calzaghe would beat Kovalev. He was susceptible to straight right hands.

Joe would have found a way to beat anyone put in front of him...

One of the most adaptable fighters we've ever had the pleasure of...

Obviously Calzaghe. Prime Calzaghe if fit and well, I would pick by stoppage, faded end of career Calzaghe by clear decision

His best win is Kessler and an old Hopkins.

Ward and Dawson beat those two guys much easier than Calzaghe did.

Just because a guy beats one fighter easier doesn't mean anything, come on bud....

But this sort of talk will always go on i suppose....

But they beat them after Calzaghe. You also forget that that was end of career Calzaghe you are comparing to prime fighters and even if you do that then consider old end of career Calzaghe looked better against Bika than prime Ward did and Dawson didnt look great against G Johnson who lost to Sheika who Calzaghe beat.
These comparisons arent great. Pacquiao looked better against Cotto than Mayweather, Hatton looked more impressive against Castillo than Mayweather but Floyd was able to beat both

Ward is too competent fighting southpaws and Calzaghe is too hittable. Best case scenario for Joe is a competitive loss.
