If you refer about Danilo Häußler, then who won fair (the first time close) and knocked in the second fight Catley down, while he won almost every round in it (all three judges had it 49 - 45 or 50 - 44), no-one who had watched it would argue that the "Cutman" outpointed him there, as he was totally outworked in it (like in the last 4 rounds of their first bout).

His best win in Middleweight was against DeWitt when the WBO was just created, while he lost against every first-tier opponent in it. Therefore he can be barely top 50 of it. Piper never won the big one either but, like Ashley, he was no pushover. With a little bit of luck both of them could have picked up a world title against the right opponent. Piper came awfully close against Leeonzer Barber.

Unfortunately my abiding memory of Ashley will always be this fight. One of the worst KOs I've seen in a British ring. I was worried that Ashley might be seriously hurt when he went down. Thankfully not though. But Klemetsen had savage power in that left hand of his.

I remember those fights with Ashley against Klemetsen and against Woods. Klemetsen looked powerful that night and I remember Ashleys post fight interview after. He still seemed a bit shook up.

Yes I remember Ashley's post-fight interview vividly. I still have the fight. He wasn't just a bit shook up he couldn't remember what had happened. It was quite a bizarre interview. They should've left him alone instead of shoving a camera in his face not long after being on the wrong end of such horrible KO loss like that.

Yes I did. I like Woods. Hell of a chin on him. Klemetsen is one of the very few fighters who was able to put him down. Woods said Klemetsen was the hardest puncher he fought, or at least one of two of the hardest punchers he fought. Can't remember the other guy's name he said at the moment.
