The judges scores do not indicate that Mayweather vs Canelo was a near shutout. 114-114, 116-112, and 117-111 is far from a near shutout. Lets be clear, you are going out on a limb going completely against all 6 judges that scored those two fights. I'm simply saying "those judges had it right”.

General opinion is that those scorecards were rubbish, you know this I don't need to tell you.

General opinion is largely based on popularity. Floyd was much much more popular than Canelo, especially in Vegas, at the time. Canelo Lara was a fight that the public was split on: Some thought Canelo won, while others thought Lara won.

    Yes, really.

Alvarez has Ws over Lara, Trout, Cotto and Chavez jr @ SMW.

    Exactly WHO has Bumlovkin beaten?

Jacobs and Murray alone > Lara (whom McNelo lost to), Trout, Cotto, and Zombie Jr.

Just come out and say it: you hate GGG because Floyd won't fight him and Floyd bear McNelo. It's obvious, so just come out and say it.

114-114 is pure robbery. Canelo's bogus/suspicious scorecards have been talked about in detail on here. 116-112 was laughable for that fight. Canelo literally could not land anything unless it was on Mayweathers Gloves. Most his punches missed by 6 to 8 inches.

Would you pick Canelo to beat Jacobs or Lemieux? I have a good feeling that GGG would easily beat Trout and Lara and would likely KO Cotto and Chavez Jr.

Takes some serious fanboy skills to defend 114-114 for Mayweather Canelo.

Lol you are kidding aren't you, don't get me wrong I rate that fight as one of Mayweathers finest but it was as one sided a fight as you could ever see over twelve rounds,Maidana gave Floyd more probs than Canelo ever did

Atleast Canelo wasn't favorites to win all his fights by knock out he also fought the people they said he would duck, Lara, Floyd , Cotto. GGGs best fight to date is against a guy he was 8-1 favorite to beat on top of that he refused to move up and challenge himself and fight Ward when it mattered. /shrug

There's about 10 other fighters who gave Mayweather more problems than Canelo did.
