We have gone from pinoy pacstans controlling every boxing forum to a handful of lunatics desperately spamming. What happens in 5 years? 10? Floyd can rest easy knowing his legacy is secure in the hands of the boxing writers and historians.
you know its suprising by just seeing how EXTREMLY superficial floyd is that he continued to train and put the same ammount of effort into his training at 38 then he did when he was growing up, struggling and dreaming of fighting in the olympics
some always say fmj "guided" while others did what ? the only fighter from his era close in resumes is Pac and most of the top opponents are exactly the same. Pac has Morales and mab that fmj doesn't but fmj fought tougher opponents than them while at 130/135. for fans and media alike, what makes "great" careers is being in tough wars and coming back from defeat, that's entirely foolish to think like that silly. yes, more drama but drama doesn't equal ability, talent or skill. if fmj steered his career then so did Pac, you can't have it both ways. you have your opinions as we all do and it's not remotely close to possible to put Pac on the same level. imho, Pac is on jmm,Morales and mab level, at NO point in fmj 19 year career can anyone claim he's on any of those four levels. he gets punished like every very top atg for being head and shoulders above the rest, while guys at lower levels with drama filled careers mistake drama and struggle with talent, Idk what's wrong, it's like fmj IS YOUR LIFE
did Pac have fmj # to the level that Marg had it ? once your mind is that confused you should just go with it
Everybody already knows Pac is greater. It's been done before and it's been accepted that he's the greater fighter. It's just the way it is. It's like saying Duran is greater than Hagler. It just is what it is.
The difference between Floyd and Pac is Pac's ko losses. No true historian will ever pick Pac over Floyd no matter how exciting a fighter people thought Pac was. Both had superb skill, both climbed up in weight both have won lineal titles and both fought tough comp. Pacs ko losses are why Floyd is greater than Pac. It is what it is.
Floyd is a boxing god, yet he clearly LOST to Castillo, drew w/ Maidana, and lost to an injured, small, old, semi-shot Pac.
You can discount the early KO losses. Pac didn't have proper training nor did he have a proper trainer (Buboy don't count). Pac lost to Morales (ATG), to Bradley (crystal clear robbery), got iced by Roidquez (ATG, stylistic nightmare and roided to the gills), and "lost" to FMJ (ATG who was roided). Pac only lost to ATGs at the important part of his career. Floyd lost to B-level dudes in Castillo and Maidana. THAT IS THE DIFFERENCE, Piggy Smalls!
'pac had floyds number' why do i bother reading these forums, floyd would have beaten him anytime, and pac was more than likely on peds when he fought hatton, dela hoya and cotto hence why he never did random drug testing and hense why the floyd fight didnt happen earlier - pacman didnt want to random drug tests, but floyd would have outboxed him whenevr they could have met, you don't see floyd having a war and then getting knocked out by marquez
Excuses from the ugly big nosed one, lmfao. Pac got knocked out. There is no escaping that part of the judgement brown teeth. You guys wouldn't have discounted Floyd's losses had he lost his Pac lost. And nobody cares what you think.
Are you dumb? 1) JMM is the worst stylistic nightmare match up for Pac 2) JMM is an ATG and perhaps the greatest counterpuncher in the history of the sport (with roids, Roidquez upgraded the dynamite in his fists to WMDs) 3) Castillo is B-level and he beat Floyd (the overwhelmingly majority of people had Floyd losing that fight) 4) Maidana is B-level and pushed Floyd to the brink in their first fight (Pac would annihilate Maidana) and was forced to wear pillows
