I guess so, I saw the statement about IBF 2 days ago in a bulgarian sport media. It's the only way Pulev can win a title so... Plus I think it will be better for Joshua because Pulev for sure will try to cash out against him after he wins the belt.
Pulev would beat Takam, because Pulev can fight for 12 rounds, Takam gasses. Takam also isn't a huge puncher and is shorter. So I wouldn't be surprised if this fight gets made.
Takam would have good chance to win. Pulev has not looked good since Klitschko annihilated him. Good fight
When you get stopped by a 53 year old Sidon... Anyone active is dangerous for you. Williams is SO shot... It's criminal allowing him to fight.
Here is Junior Fa's trainer about that fight: hey all, we had a rough night at the office and re assessing the training at the moment. I think at end of day he was cooked and had over trained so was fatigued in ring. weight is an issue and have a new plan on that more to do with how he's eating rather then whats he's eating. . end of day junior didn't perform to the standard we all wanted. Junior being his own harshest critic is pretty upset about it. i think of this as a bump in the road not a big wall. looking forward to heading to the states with some top sparing as that is our single biggest problem. No prob guys. I believe in him big time. I have been very busy over last 3 months and I over see his training but I didn't last 3 months so I take allot of the Responsibility. Essentially I work in with Tom Walsh , Jacko gill and val Adams trainer but as junior wanted to spend more time at home to look after his son we missed a bit of over sight . IMO he over trained and did 3 sessions a day. Also having a bit of stress produces cortisole which is essentially the opposite of testosterone . This hormone essentially stores food to fat and make your body use minimum energy and puts all the energy you need to recover on your body as fat for later . Just my theory as juniors eating and habits are pretty solid., the disappointing thing is he ate well and trained too hard but we over cooked it .
Someone like Tyrone Sponge is light years ahead of him.Sponge is more dedicated and has more talent than Fa.
I used to rate Fa but he has shown some poor form in his last few fights and seems to be physically and emotionally vulnerable, the bad sign if you want to reach the top of the division.
This lad shouldn't post videos till his balls drop and voice breaks, sounds more like he should be posting videos on his thoughts on new call of duty or some **** not boxing.
In a hastily arranged box off, Dean Gardiner confirmed his place on the Irish team for the upcoming European Championships with a win tonight over Martin Keenan. The big men met tonight at the National Stadium to decide who will represent Ireland in Ukraine with Clonmel’s Gardiner overcoming his Rathkeale opponent after a frentic three rounds. Keenan, who also hails from Tipperary, had won the 2017 Elite Senior title, however Gardiner did not weigh-in for this tournament due to injury. Gardiner possessed a sizeable height and reach advantage and would take the bout on the scorecards via a 4-1 split decision and will make his way to Eastern Europe next week. The tournament in Kharkiv runs from June 14th to 25th, with quarter finalists also qualifying for the World Championships in Hamburg, Germany this Septemver IRISH SQUAD 52kg Brendan Irvine (St Pauls) 56kg Kurt Walker (Canal) 60kg Patrick Mongan (Olympic) 64kg Sean McComb (Holy Trinity) 69kg Steven Donnelly (All Saints) 75kg Emmett Brennan (Glasnevin) 81kg Joe Ward (Moate) 91kg Darren O’Neill (Paulstown) 91+kg Dean Gardiner (Clonmel) http://www.irish-boxing.com/super-heavyweight-box-off/
