I laugh at folk who talk about being exposed lol,he's an A level fighter, always balanced, has the best jab and most prolific jab of his peers, solid defense when he wants and thudding power, just he's prepared to take a few to get his own off I think some see this as mental but it's totally calculated as he asses their power and invites em into his game and even Monroe couldn't resist, quite simply it's brilliant, what better way to get someone outta there as appose to someone running

How many feathers will Golovkin knock off El Pollo?! I predict all of them and a knock out!!!

How much damage can El Pollo do with his wing punch?

This is a shocking revelation you're making. I thought for sure you would be posting about how sure you are that Canelo is going to win.

El Pollo said cluck, cluck, peck peck, I think he is not a rooster but a hen.................

However, Golovkin had better watch out of his wing punch, it is a real feather duster!

Farmboxer, I can always count on you for my daily dose of Canelo related farm animal boxing references. You truly are living up to your username.

    well said

casuals are in awe of fighters who cherry pick titles across mulitple divisions as the move up in divisions with age (want to be a world champion at Super Middleweight--rather fight James DeGale (IBF) or Tyron Zeuge (WBA)?

depends on the situation, but i would imagine it's harder to clean out a single division.

i've noticed that Farmboxer has re-nicked quite a few fighters--sometimes i can't follow his posts because i don't know which fighter he's talking about. A few weeks ago he referred to a fighter as "SOB"; i had to read a few posts down in the thread before i understood he was talking about Andre Ward (who gave himself the rather pretentious nick of "Son of God" of SOG). Not sure if Farmboxer came up with "SOB" or not (i have never heard it before) but i though it was hilarious

    what's the **** point here?

It's like saying Golovkin has 89% KO's . Exactly what's Mayweathers KO percentage rate?

"La Gallina" is what you're trying to call him.

Your post says a lot, and its problematic.

This is a major problem when comparing fighters like Mayweather and Golovkin or even Canelo and Golovkin. The one argument I see a lot is "Oh, Mayweather beat Canelo, Pacman, Maidana etc, who did GGG beat? They're not even in the same class, Floyd destroys him." This while completely ignoring the fact that May /Canelo /Cotto beat midgets compared to who Golovkin beat. It's not comparable.

If you're talking strictly resume and comparing whose resume is better, then yeah, you're right.

But if you're using that resume to formulate an argument why Canelo/May/Cotto beat GGG on a H2H basis, then it's completely wrong because a guy like the Jacobs we saw against GGG would tear right through all the smaller guys resumes like Mike Tyson.

Maybe I'm misreading your posts and that's not the argument you are making.

But if you are, then you're simply wrong.

Since Canelo actually took the GGG fight in the end, I've stopped calling him chicken names. I don't pretend to understand his reasoning (other than maybe he was waiting for GGG to age) but, he took the fight in the end.

I am talking about on a p4p sense if all of these guys were the same size pbf is head and shoulders above the likes of jacobs and ggg. He's far more skilled than both that's what I'm saying and if both were let's say ww fighters pbf would have an easy time with both. Yes they're bigger so if he fought them at 160 with him being a 147 fighter he would have problems due to their size but if they were the same size that wouldn't be the case because he's more skilled. P4p speaking guys like pbf Pac jmm are better fighters than jacobs or ggg period.

Same size = different story, I agree.

    P4P is not H2H.

I still think Golovkin would give Floyd problems due to how he cuts the ring ... but I'm not sure I'd bet on the outcome.
