Well said. Gassiev, Briedis, perhaps, both seem to have superb chins.

I don't think Kudryashov is glass-jawed btw. Durodola hits very hard, he took a lot of shots this fight, even the first fight as stopped with Kudryashov on his feet.

This should've punched Kudryahsov's ticket into the Cruiserweight Super Series.

    Thanks.

Yeah they're tough guys no doubt. But Kudryashov's power is something scary. I don't think there's a CW on the planet he can't KO or stop. And I say that knowing full well that there are more than a few seriously tough guys in the division with excellent chins. Thing is Durodola is one of the toughest.

Durodola can definitely hit and I also think he's a difficult style match up for Kudryashov.

I'm not totally sold on Kudryashov. Not sure about his stamina and he does need to improve on certain things. But his power is frightening. And what's more, he hits extremely hard with both hands, to head and body, and he can take you out with a variety of different shots with both hands too.

    Just seen the fight.

Durodola showed a great chin, Kudryashov showed some good work with left hand and he was calm under fire but his power in God like.

Gassiev v Kudryashov is a boxing fans wet dream.

    Very good fight.

He's limited. But that power man... I think he could win a title or at the very least improve considerably under Sanchez.

Durodola has a good chin, insane recovery... Another sad story waiting to happen had the ref let it continue. Could have honestly stopped it after the 1st or 2nd knockdown, he was out of it and not responding to his instructions. A lot of refs would have waved it off after the 1st KD.

I like reading these RBR's for all the stupidity from the peanut gallery. Kudr4yashov avenges a bad TKO loss with a dominant one of his own and everyone has to lie up and micro manage him.

He does not do this well or that well, yeah no ****! These are basically finished products at this stage and can only make subtle changes at best which he did.

I will gladly take "flawed" fighters like these two any day and go out of my way to watch them, hopefully at the CW super tourny in Kudryashov's case. There is not one elite CW in the World that does not make intrigue with this guy with the possible exception of Usyk who I think could dominate him.

Thus concludes a weekend of Russian revenge served cold.

Shlemenko destroyes Halsey in 25 seconds.

Minakov gets revenge for fedor over Bigfoot Silva

Kudryashov returns the favor in a more brutal fashion.

    Fully agree.

First the Briedis fight and now this, he's had two career ageing beatdowns, a bit of time off wouldn't be so bad for him.

Ah, I see that would be Nikita Mikhalkov. I havn't seen any of his films, only know he's apparently representative of the trend of elaborate and slavish patriotism that's been dominating recent Russian cinema. Mythologising the Orthodox Church, and skewing history largely to praise the Putin regime as a Tsarist successor. For an antidote I highly recommend the film of the other Russian filmmaker who was recently nominated for an Academy award: Andrey Zvyagintsev's Leviathan. Which gets at corruption and the lack of civil society, but through personal and psychic disconnection and breakdown. Behind a lot of swearing and vodka. Zvyagintsev is a voice of independence and opposition. And he's someone who would never accept being feted at a sporting event before the national anthem.

Agreed. I think Usyk is in a league of his own but Dmitry would be a VERY live dog against any top guy at both Cruiser and Heavyweight if he decides to move up.

i fell asleep waiting for the main event. damn what a fight. these guys are both warriors. if they ever have a third fight, i am definitely seeing it live. what kind of chin does duradola have? in the critics department, aside from the jab, kudryashev doesn't seem to know how to throw a straight punch. but that power!!!
