    Ward uses that guard often. He would have been waiting to counter after seeing opportunities. Fonfara needless to say isn't the brain that Ward is and seems to have lost whatever boxing IQ he did have under Hunter.

    The wars have taken their toll on Fonfara. Solid fighter but not elite as this fight proved. Shot Dawson, blown up and overrated Chavez, and past prime cleverly.
    Credit to stevenson he still has his power and still counters well.

    Don't see it. Alvarez couldn't finish a shot Pascal that barely threw a punch. Stevenson has faster hands and a longer reach than Alvarez. Alvarez also has very leaky defense. I can see him getting countered and knocked out. Pascal almost did it early in the fight, but Pascal doesn't have Stevenson's power.
