Dmitry Kudryashov vs. Olanrewaju Durodola II & Vyacheslav Mirzaev vs. Anthony Settoul RBR.

I want to see Kudryashov fight that Cuban Dorticos.

 

That was early stoppage.

Durodola still looked like a DANGEROUS MAN.

But Kudry is man on a mission

Yeah, I thought it could have been stopped after the first knockdown. Durodola was running on fumes after that and was lucky he was even allowed to get up from a second knockdown. No problems with the stoppage since it was clear he was basically done by that point.

 

Good fight. Kudryashov looked a bit better defenseivley than the few times I've seen him before, not Pernell Whitaker like, but an improvement.

I don't think the stoppage was bad but it seemed like it was stopped early especially with the round almost over, no complaints though.

A lot of people want to see Kudrayshov and even Durodola in the cruiserweight tournament coming up, that's an excellent idea.

I'd like to see them both in the tournament and have a third fight in the first round match ups.

Kudryashov may have won tonight but it was a close fight going into the fourth(I had Durodola up) Durodola was landing some nice shots, and Kudryashov looked like his stamina was going to let him down. Both guys have won by ko and a third fight couldn't help be entertaining.

 

You had Durodola winning? Really? I like the dude, hell of a heart and tough as a Thompson of the Carl variety, but I'd rather the spot be given to someone a little higher in calibre. Dorticos, Vlasov or Makabu would be better additions IMO.

 

After 3 I had it 2-1 for Durodola. The rounds were close so I see nothing wrong with Kuryashov ahead either.

The third round was tougher to score. Durodola seemed to be winning most of the round until Kuryashov closed strong. I had if for Durodola though.

Close entertaining rounds, I'd like to see a third fight. I get it if they(especially Kudrayshov since he will probably have bigger options) go different directions though.

 

That would be awfully fun to watch wouldn't it.

I can see why since Durodola was still on his feet and had just staggered back from a left hook, but considering he was out of it for a round and a bit and just shipping brutal punishment it was the right call. Ref could have stopped it after either of the knockdowns really.

 

You're fitter, but even more importantly, much, much faster; you've managed to post a message on the internet 3 minutes after the referee stopped your opponent in the ring.

Just watched the kudryashov fight. It was a 5 round war IMO. Both of them have good chins and alot of heart. Durodola took some serious punishment throughout so fair play to him lasting till the 5th round. Kudryashov has the most powerful left hook in the division but leaves his hands down too much so can see him getting ko'ed by the elite fighters. Would like both to enter the cruiserweight tournament though.

 

I still can't belive Duradola didn't go down when that left hook from hell sent his mouthpiece flying into the 10th row.

That punch is a one shot fight ender vs most CW's. Dude's toughness and heart is something else.
