He needs to fight someone too but you cant compare Stevenson to Wilder. Joe Smith and Kovalev had their chance.. Bellew has a better resume than Wilder at heavyweight after 1 fight... 1 FIGHT! So in a way Wilder is trying to fight Stevensons left overs.

 

Povetkin had his chance , yet you give Stevenson a pass , but not Wilder.. Fascinating.

And no , Bellow doesn't have a better resume than Wilder. Haye was finished. He hasn't had a win since 2012 , those two fake fights he had count for nothing.
44 year old Briggs was fighting guys like that and looked better winning than Haye did. Speaking of Briggs , Haye avoiding him and now we know why.

 

I'm not giving Stevenson a pass. Him saying he's the king of the division is laughable and I can’t support that but Wilder says hideous things like that all the time every time.


So did you predict Bellew to win in that fight? Absolutely no one picked Bellew.. everyone was saying Haye would stop him early and hurt him bad (Really bad) I was concerned for his health and personally thought Haye would hospitalise him.


Its not like Bellew knew Haye would tear achilles tendon. Bellew admitted he was concerned for his life and wrote his will out before that fight. But at least he had the courage to fight Haye..Why didn’t Wilder call out Haye? He’s open to fight Bellew now but he never ever mentioned Haye’s name. Maybe because of what happened on sparring as Haye was blasting him.


I don’t hate want to dislike Wilder, He did try to fight Povetkin . But that didn’t happen (No fault of his) yet he talks as though he’s beat all the greats and has the audacity to criticise other peoples resumes. Until he fights someone, just anyone who isn’t a tomato.. I will keep calling him out on his bull.

 

Sure will be nice when Wilder stops fighting obscure handpicked bums. One top 10 win in almost 40 fights. Might be the worst Heavyweight resume ever for a title holder (other than Charles Martin)
