Wilder vs Jennings (pre-Wlad fight version). Who takes it?

Who would win? The current heavyweight champ vs the no.2 American heavyweight in Jennings.

To be honest, I rate Wilder and Jennings as the no.1 and no.2 American heavyweights.

To be honest , I think Jennings takes it by the cards.

Maybe not the current version of Jennings cuz he's been gone for 2 years but the version that fought Wladimir, possibly.

    Jennings makes him look foolish.

Jennings has been very inactive but years ago when a match up was discussed I thought Jennings would decisively defeat Wilder.

Assuming Jennings has had a warm up or two then I give him a good chance. He could always get levelled though. Would be Wilder's best win and a genuine win too

Wilder stops Jennings. Jennings has the athleticism and reach to give Wilder problems, but doesn't know how to make use of them. He has an 84 inch reach, but no jab and is also a great athlete, but uses no lateral movement. Jennings also won't be able wear Wilder down like he does his other opponents. Jennings also has no answer for Wilder's right hand, which will end the fight when it lands.

Jennings might not even be the SECOND best heavyweight from Pennsylvania.

Jennings would outbox Wilder with relative ease. Look at the Szpilka and Washington fights as evidence.

Wilder hands Jennings a loss with relative ease. Jennings is barely amateur level. Wilder isn't the greatest of boxers either but he has the speed , range and power to deal with rudimentary Jennings.

This. People say Wilder can't box, which is untrue. Wilder only boxes when his opponent can punch. He outboxed Stiverne, since firing off right hands with reckless abandon would get him countered by Stiverne. Against light punchers like Szpilka, Washington, and Audley Wilder just fired his right hand until it landed, since he knows he's dealing with guys that can't punch.

Jennings showed how limited he was when Ortiz timed him with the same uppercut twice. The only reason Szpilka lasted as long as he did is because he was quick and he had great lateral movement, but got desperate when he gassed and got himself knockedout. Jennings stands right infront of his opponent. Jennings should fight Whyte, since that's more his level.

That evidence points in the direction of Jennings getting laid flat.

Wilder fanboys need to explain why the chicken dancer isn't picking up the phone to Jennings but he has for shot to pieces Arreola, novice nobody Gerald Washington, and Spzilka who was stopped by Jennings before Wilder gave him the shot. Pretty shameful.
