How much different would the May-Pac fight be if it were 2009 opposed to 2015?

    Oh for sure for sure.
With Floyd's star power at the time, he could've easily made the fight happen. Not to say that Pac and Arum were helping as I'm sure they had a lot to do with it too. But if Floyd has the power to make a multimillion "super fight" between a guy with 0 boxing experience and make it his 50th fight, then no doubt he had the power to make the Pac fight years ago...

It would have been an easier fight for pbf back then than it was in 2015.this was the same guy who was still going life and death with jmm back in 2009. Pac was a far more flawed fighter then his defense was worse and he was far more reckless he was also basically a one handed fighter to. He would have walked into a clean counter and possibly dropped due to how reckless he was back then. Anyone who says pac stops pbf doesn't know **** about boxing and is still bitter about may 2nd 2015. Pbf beats any version of Pac he's a stylistic nightmare for him.

You mean the same prime pac who lost to a faded Morales and couldn't clearly beat jmm. That prime pac? A prime pac lost to lesser fighters than pbf.:deal:

Floyd offered the man 50/50. When has Floud ever offered an opponent a 50/50 fight? Pac made the public believe that he could beat Floyd in 09. Floyd had no choice but to fight Pac. All Floyd wanted was testing. A ****en 24 day window was counter offered by Pac. You knew Pac was a PED user when he asked for a cutoff date to testing. You knew it.

There's no reason Floyd wouldn't have done better than Marquez did. Marquez was inferior at the same game.

That means bs, by that logic the gatekeeper Maidana who beat the fk out of Floyd is better than Morales.....

we have to remember what Morales did to Floyd in sparring too, as we are drawing illogical conclusion based on triangulation theories
Due to numerous requests from readers wanting to know what really happened
    > between Erik Morales and Floyd Mayweather when they sparred at Big Bear, CA,
    > Diamond Damon went right to the source. Erik was not at home but I did speak with
    > Erik's chief second Fernando Fernandez who was there when they sparred. He told
    > me that when Erik and Floyd were sparring together on the first day that Floyd
    > was trying to teach Erik some of his defensive moves and Erik told him "No way,
    > you can't do it
    > like that or you'll get hit". Floyd didn't believe him so Erik started started
    > feinting him and then peppering him with shots. Fernando said Erik did land some
    > big shots on Floyd and that Floyd looked really surprised and eventually stormed
    > out of the ring all
    > pissed off. The next day they were supposed to spar again but Floyd didn't show
    > up, electing to train in the afternoon instead of in the morning with Erik.

Maybe that is where Floyds fear of prime fighters stems from ....

It would be different because that's when Pac was at his most ferocious in the higher weight classes, however Floyd was also at his peak and was far more offensive, and after going through some tough spots, he'd figure out manny mid fight and start countering and pot shotting with precision and accuracy. I think Floyd would win a comfortable 8-4 type decision.

The difference is pbf wasn't prime when he fought maidana and he beat maidana twice. Maidana did indeed beat Morales.

About 5x as relevant with 5x the action and Manny would have got lumped up worse and maybe took a nap 3 years early. Might have almost been worth the 100 bucks and thereby not have ****ed over other fighters future ppvs. Shame on them both. They'll never live it down with me.
