I think Hamsho is too strong for him, would smother Vito as they met face to face and dug in to work on the inside.

Vito rallies late (if he's not stopped on cuts) but not enough. Close but UD for Hamsho IMO.

That would be a bloodbath. Vito stopped late on cuts.....but scorecard is close.

Vito is stopped on cuts late on while being ahead on the cards.

Vito was not a big MW and he could have made 154 lbs . Hamsho was
a strongman and ended his career at LHW. This fight would be more
suited to a phone booth and would be a mauling , clubbing , rough
fight. Both would be cut badly but this would more from head butts
than punches. Hagler ended up in hospital from first Hamsho fight
from Hamsho head butts. Hamsho on pts in a bloody fight.

Maybe the ugliest fight ever proposed on here, Who's the better boxer? Vito, maybe? I'd say Vito would win because he was a world champion

Although smaller I think Vito may be stronger with those powerlifter looking legs and neck but Hamsho is heavier faster not by much and bigger. Vito is the better boxer but Hamsho hits harder.
It boils down to cuts as stated above. Hamsho was flat out dirty. He'll use his heavier weight and bigger frame to maul and push Vito around as best he can and use his head elbows to cut the sh#t out of Vito forcing a stoppage.
Vito has the better resume and is the better fighter but Hamsho's style and size advantage as well as being dirty as f#ck wins him this really tough fight.

I think this is a fight I would have preferred to read about rather than seen.

Maybe this fight could have been on the undercard of my infamous Corro-Ottke bout.
